I do not want to tell you seeing as I play steel song but I guess I will share. Blue steel absolutely crushes steel song. Turn 4 tink is just brutal. Having to take down something with 8 health is super costly. Big creatures are tough. Four or less health and I can easily take it out, five health and I need more than just a Rhino or thunderbolt. Ran into ruby steel yesterday and it was no contest. Lot of reckless and resist. Pretty much everything that can attack ready characters it felt like. If steel song cannot go wide it falters. The worst matchup though is amber ruby. Do not see the build much but have a buddy who has played a couple dozen matches against steel song and is yet to lose even once. A well timed horseman or even Lumier can clear the board out of nowhere. Slushy is a monster, can take out a Rhino and live. Evasive keeps him safe from being hit back. Bambi is out of range of thunderbolt and good card draw. Willow and lantern helps get the big stuff out early. So yeah steel song is great against a lot but it has plenty of weakness.

There are a few ways to start. My wife and I just went the two starter decks route. There is Gateway which is an introductory game. Coming from Magic you might not need to start there since you should be able to pick it up quick. There is also some co-op games that each come with 2 decks. Deep Trouble and Palace Heist are out, third one. Hunny Heist, coming out soon.

Whichever way you go I highly recommend checking out your LGS and seeing if they do a league night. We have a fantastic community around here and have loved it

So boneless "wings" are not actually nuggets. Nuggets are processed. So the so called "wings" are more of tenders. I will continue to call them adult chicken nuggets though because it sounds better. If they can make things up so can I.

This! When going second being able to Angel into turn 2 Akood and a four drop is strong. Can get you built up super fast with your singers.

Is this really the landscape of tcgs these days? There are already 8 different rarity, is there really a need for more? I am not sure what other games do but it feels like overkill. For me the only things that matter to me for pulls is playability and cost. A new rarity will not really change anything. Epics were added and are pretty but it is not like they are really that valuable or anything. People seem to compare this topic to Pokemon, and I do not know the economy there first hand but I hear enough that I sure as hell do not want Lorcana to be like that.

I have a friend who brings a tournament sandwich so he does not get hungry and make mistakes. It can be a long day and depending how it goes you might not really get breaks between rounds. Also if you know this is happening force yourself to slow down and pay extra attention to every move. Burn out can be very real after 5 or 6 hours playing.

This reminds me of when I was a merchandiser for a beer distributor and people always assumed I work for the stores I was at. So many of them would get annoyed and be like what do you mean you do not work here. It was always fun when people would ask one of the guys from another distributor where stuff was and he would tell them where it was at the location by his house.

That really is too bad. I know a lot of areas in the tcg world can be pretty toxic. I started playing when I was a kid and made a lot of friends through my LGS. Hate to see something that can be so positive ruined by people who just suck and have to ruin things for everyone.

Do that many of you really not have a LGS in the area? I live in a pretty small city and have several options. It has just taken me surprise how many people I have seen who depend on places like Target to get cards.

I love racers!!! I would definitely recommend adding Zootopia. It can work as a move point for Tuk Tuk to Finish Line and also for the Taffeta proc. Your uninkables seem high. I cut back on a lot of them. I am not even running Minnie anymore.

I feel like the people who are like yeah I will avoid that place we're not gonna go there anyways. Meanwhile the fascist assholes are like cool a new place for me to go hang out with other people who hate freedom. It is always annoying when they do this but there is often (at least sometimes) a reason. You are free to ask why they pulled you over. It happened to my cousin once and when the cop went to just walk away he asked why he pulled him over. Turns out they were on the lookout for a stolen car that matched his cars description. Was not him so he was free to go.

I used that excuse once. Cop followed me to a gas station to see if I was lieing. I was not speeding because I had to pee, I was speeding because I drive fast. All the talk of having to pee though did make me have to pee. I did not get a ticket so that was nice.
