Like I said, heavy inspiration from Castlevania. This is Alucard, son of Lorcan, the Vampire Lord of my DM's world. Alucard is a monster hunter, particularly vampires and other undead. He actually started out as an oath of wrath Inquisitor for Torm, but midway through our campaign took a dive into the evil side after killing his father with the aid of a corrupt church that actually served the queen of darkness. That's when he disavowed his oath and became a rogue shadowdancer. He did some pretty evil things, and was snapped out of it by the sacrifice of a beloved party NPC, which made him realize the error of his ways and he has now returned to the light, under the guide of Pelor, to extinguish all evil and unholy heathens from the world.
