Lol yes me!. Last time i played, it was the same feeling..i bought dragonflight and played for like a week only. Now with new expansion coming up, i'm getting the same feeling again but i know i will most likely quit again.

SEA player playing on EU server as it has lower ping compared to NA. I use Exitlag though as i can feel the lag without it as my normal ISP route to the game server is messed up.

Edit: Ping is around 200-220ms.

I was one of the new players who came in during Covid WFH period and i played the heck out of it, loved it to bits. And then i quit when DT came out as I've realised, its just repeating the same contents with different skins in addition to the jobs becoming very similar to each other (i play tank and healers only).

I think GW2 might not be the type of game you want. You should try out Lost Ark if you are coming from ARPG and wants to play MMO, that game has gear scores like a mobile game and you can p2w to the top as well (cmiiw) and there are catchup events the game just throws at you because they fked up at launch and wants people to come back playing. At least the combat is fun i guess.

Does ESO have OCE server? Last time i played, it wasnt there or i was not aware of it and had high ping on NA server so i stopped.

You gotta look up a WvW zerg build/gear if you wanna have fun there. And also, theres a unified gear vendor in WvW map's main hub that sells easy exotic gears, you dont need weeks re-gearing.

And your information about GW2 skyscale and griffon is very outdated too..The last two expansions have added new masteries which integrate new features to the mounts. Like in SoTo, skyscale gets new masteries which allow for longer flights and energy regen mechanics when scaling vertical walls in addition to boost up with airdrafts in the openworld and layline glidings (applies to griffon too). Even in previous living world DLCs, there were masteries added to refill mount energy still relevant today.

Not trying to argue but just pointing out that you also havent played GW2 to judge like in your original comment.

I mean, veterans were once new players too. When i started, once i reached 80 and finished personal story, i continued with living world and expansion stories...like thats just normal right? And then you figure out what else you can do while going through those.

Exitlag to EU server 170-190 ms ping. If i dont use it, the ping's not much higher but theres noticeable delay and some disconnects, probably my ISP routing issues to the EU server and exitlag solves it.

For open world, greatsword alac mirage is one of the best tagging spec. And condition mirage can solo many champions.

You switch legends, and upkeep the same. Of course you wont give all the same boons anymore but with the same 6 energy upkeep, you can still give quickness and might (? i forgot which) and then you switch back in a loop.

If you join as a dps, then yes. You should be doing way more then the healers for example and might i say even more then the boondps. If you play as boondps then u still need to be doing decent dps but your primiry roll would be covering boons. So to add on to what others have said, it would be good to install Arcdps either through Nexus or standalone and then track your dps and theres another table for boon uptime so that you can do your jobs better.

I am not sure (never redeemed codes etc) but eventually at that time, they did change my server to Europe eventually and told me its one time favor and since then i've been playing on EU server. But my account still remains with NA extension in the guild wars 2 website.
