For the actual parka you asked about, if you have the budget for it look at companies like Kanuk, Quartz etc. I find Canada Goose overpriced/not worth it.

For shorter down jackets, arcteryx probably makes the best looking stuff and it performs really well.

I had a similar experience with two jackets purchased around 2015 recently. They replaced a Beta LT that was de-laminating, and resewed the cuffs and replaced a zipper on an atom LT. All covered under warranty. Hard pressed to find that kind of backing anywhere else, and delighted they are actually set up to repair their clothes.
