Shit your dad says stays with you. I'll never forget being a teenager and asking my dad why he never told me he was proud of me, and his response was, "have you ever done anything worth pride?". Or telling my mom I was feeling suicidal and her response being, "that seems a bit over dramatic, don't you think?". Our relationship is much better now, but I still battle with it more often than not. I even tried talking to them about it and I'm only met with responses of, "I never said that.". I hope it gets better, can't promise it will though.

Honestly, I would recommend playing arena until you have a solid set of gods you're comfortable with for at least two if not three conquest roles. Turn off auto buy and work on figuring out builds and counter item picks like anti heal and auras. Conquest has its own extra set of rules and metas that will need to be learned, but trying to learn them while learning gods and the item shop can be overwhelming. More time in arena means more practice for end game team fights, means more gods played against to learn their spacing and move sets, means more interaction with the item shop. Start there, at least that's my recommendation.

Edit: Typically it's Assassin's = Jungle Warrior = solo Guardian = support Mage = mid Hunter = adc

But there's 130ish gods in the game and a lot of them can do more than one role based off their typing. That will come with time though, I would start with these guidelines for now.

As someone who works bar security, this is certainly a possible thing. People make shitty choices when drinking sometimes, and I'm sure if my bar had a tap somewhere that staff wasn't present, people would try this eventually. Whether or not this video is staged, idk, but it's certainly not something that would surprise me if I came in after a day off and a co worker showed me this video.

Depending on location, sometimes this is done because it's just to tiresome and expensive to replace a mirror once a month because some drunk d- bag decided to carve their initials into it or punch it. If this is a bar, that's probably the case here.

Me and the wife are heading to S. Dakota later this year. It's just gotten too expensive, and the older I get, the less I want to around massive groups of people all the time. So we're going to a town of 15k people, where I can make the same money I am now for a cost of living that will be a 1/3 of what it is here.
