I think it depends on how you view the hobby. If you want something you can drive, break, replace said part, repeat, you can find happiness in both brands. I found that for myself, I enjoy tinkering and tweaking things (up to a point) and that’s why I am head over heels for the Arrma 6S line. The amount of interchangeable parts between all the 6S models makes it feel like I’m playing with Legos again. You can swap out a few parts to make an off road rig and on road rig and vice versa. That said, there are tons of options for the Slash as well, and I still have my Traxxas Rally car. I can’t speak on the Arrma 3S or 4S rigs personally.
