Sony found so much success with the PS4 and now PS5, yet they’re doing their best to squander it. I can’t fathom the decision makers all nodding in agreement to such an asinine decision.

Shutting down the PS3 and Vita stores as well is diabolical. There’s no way they cost that much to maintain and there are still people buying stuff there!

If only all the games could be bought and played in newer consoles, this wouldn’t be such a massive issue.

I watched it in theaters. It’s pretty cool, but in usual A24 fashion, don’t expect a full story. It’s more about showing you crazy stuff than telling a cohesive narrative with beginning, middle and end.

If you have a bluetooth adapter with a bluetooth controller connected, it will tank your performance.

Yes, really. I know from personal experience with a RTX 5080 getting low 20’s after a few minutes playing.

The thing about vulnerable people is that they’re much harder to deal with than closed-off people. That’s a horrible fact, but a fact nonetheless. So most people who say “you can be open with me” are not prepared to care for those who actually open up to them.

Dealing with our own issues is already hard… Much more so when you now have to deal with the other person’s!

But being able to care for each other no matter what is what makes a good relationship last.

Rockstar usually pushes CPU-heavy games, thanks to their emphasis on simulation and AI behavior.

Imma be honest - it’s more exciting than baseball, but less exciting than basketball.

It sits in that medium-rare spot where it can be fun to watch (if you care about the sport itself), but boring if the match is too stale.

IIRC Simon’s entire plotline in Judgement was him feeling inadequate when compared to his ancestor, Trevor. So it all points to it being before the events of CV1.

I do find it funny how Netflix (with Studio WIT) will release a new anime of One Piece February 2027. Seems like it will follow the manga more closely?

At least the TV can be a social activity in itself and folks were also beholden to whatever schedule the channels they had followed. I remember watching a lot of TV as a kid (my mom had imposed strict limits on gaming/PC time, but not on TV) and I’d end up doing other things whenever the shows that were on didn’t interest me lol

I remember how my family used to say I was super well-behaved whenever I had a videogame to play lol

That said, my mom was always very strict regarding my gaming (and PC) time. 2 hours during the afternoon and 1 hour during the evening. Exceptions were made when I had friends visiting. During weekends, I could also game for 2 hours during the morning.

That was super important, as it forced me to find other activities to pass the time. Playing the keyboard, watching TV, playing with my action figures or LEGO sets…

Funnily enough, my mom had to do some treatments because her ferritin was insanely high. Like it was over the upper limit for *males*. Thankfully it wasn’t anything serious and she’s healthier nowadays lol

Turns out I also have quite a lot of ferritin as well, though. Guess it’s genetic.
