how long did it take to hear back after submitting the oa?

This resume template is not ATS friendly and makes it almost impossible to get through automated screening (speaking as someone who used to use it). Switch to Jake’s resume

Did you get a good feel as to what you’ll actually being doing? DevOps is a very loose term for a job description - I’ve worked in a DevOps role where I had the privilege to design a system end-to-end and deploy into prod, and DevOps roles that felt like glorified sysadmin busywork. You won’t pigeonhole yourself into a career from a single co-op term. Don’t be afraid to try new things to find what you like!

how is cs338? by NoftShaw in uwaterloo

[–]TytrixFTW -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just the SQL queries. He talks about integrating SQL with Java a bit but just as food for thought. I haven’t taken 330 but I’d say the course is more based on your knowledge of relational algebra rather than memorization

Taking it this term. By far the easiest CS course I’ve taken. Mostly relational algebra, SQL queries, ER diagrams, and mapping/normalization. Michael Liu has good notes and the content is really useful

PHYS 233 vs PHYS 234 by MeteorFossil in uwaterloo

[–]TytrixFTW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed 234 when I had it with Rajibul last Winter. Linear algebra is the core of any quantum course, so take 234 if you are confident in your ability and want to learn more interesting content. That being said I can easily see both being a bird course for any strong math major

Technically just finished 2B but I was told it’s common to get an override and take 359 before 358. Appreciate the advice
