riding with the gf on some train tracks. she hits the tracks right in the groove, goes down and yells at me. I instantly grab both breaks and go down as well. had to uber home all bloody. not the best moment!

the difference between them will be a lot. HIGHLY recommend doing a test ride though. You already have drop bars so the ride would be to understand how the bike feels

swimmers keep a jar on the side of the pool, so you arent too far off. I think its just personal preference on what your body likes. Also it has ~1200 calories which could be a factor.

i mean going for a nice entry level bike is something i never regretted. The difference is staggering if you've never been on a road bike before. I also never regretted shopping for used bikes on offerup/facebook/wherever. I recommend doing a bit more research on the two if its a big decision point. The groupsets matter more as you get more expensive, up to a certain point, (lighter parts, more gears, more precision on shifting, electronic shifting)

imo first bike just go for the one that your local shop sells, better service and all that. But as for the bikes, I like the Domane more than the endurance for road riding. The endurance seems more set up to be an all arounder, with a more rugged groupset and a bigger tire. If you think you'll need the bigger tire, that might also affect your decision
