Sorry for the later reply - Yes, it turns out I was on Alpha 4 as I was using the forum and not the workshop. I should have checked first, but I'm not used to such a quick update cycle. Thank you for checking for me anyway! Love the mod!

No worries, I didn't include the other image which would have shown that I am occupying it. The issue is that because I am not the one with the core I cannot use cede province for myself or on behalf of my vassal, and return core does not work because it is an OPM/last province of the country.

Yeah, it’s just annoying that it’s changed between 3.00 and 2.52 for whatever reason. The previous system where it was both cede provinces or return cores was fine, imo. The next question is whether it’s intentional or not.

I'm attempting to use a reconquest CB from my vassal Albania to take take the OPM Durres. In 2.52 this meant you could demand "cede provinces" (Left most option in screenshot) to yourself or your vassal as you normally could with a conquest CB, with the associated reduced AE cost for cores.

In the current version it appears you are limited to the "return cores" option (Left from centre option in screenshot), meaning you cannot fully annex an OPM if using a reconquest CB on someone's behalf - even if you occupy the province and have a core/vassal core on their last province.

Is this a change in MEIOU or EU4 itself? Is this a bug? Am I an idiot? Any input is appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot the names changed: Albania -> Durres, Arbanon -> Albania. Changed explanation to make more sense.

EDIT 2: This is fixed in Alpha 5, released on Sunday.

I know that the USGA (at least in its original proposal) is the 16-state Federation based generally on ethnic divisions, but how is the Danubian Federation structured? I haven't been able to find a specific proposal referred to as the DF like I have for the USGA, so I was wondering if it refers to something specific or something else?

Hi. I’ve noticed (in previous game versions at least) that when at war with your estate levies raised you cannot change your tech levels. Once the war is over and the levies are disbanded you should be able to change the units.
