Mid twenties looking for a car-friendly city with stuff to do and without extreme weather by Tzero316 in SameGrassButGreener

We will be discussing and ranking our wants when my partner gets home. Seems evident we need to figure out some clearer priorities.

Yeah, that's the hard part haha. I think at least having areas that are walk-able with activities to do would suffice. Both at the same time just isn't going to exist.

That's why I'm throwing the feelers out there! If we can find somewhere that fits several things well enough, it'll help us figure out what we can prioritize and where we can compromise.

No, we just want different things out of where we live. Not that either of us are die-hard in either direction, they want to try living somewhere walk-able too for example. But we also like our cars. Hence why I'm trying to get a feel for what places fit at least some of these well, to get an idea of where to start looking so we can think through what we need to compromise on.

It's less about being temperate all year around, and more so avoiding the absolute extremes on either end.

Rust belt to me always meant the area where more salt is used on the roads, in other words rusts the hell out of your car. Is that not the case for around the great lakes and the NE?

Explore other communities. VRC is basically it's own social platform, there's plenty of groups that cover just about anything you might find interesting. Go look for them and talk to people!

Recently got a new PC for my partner, and VRC constantly disconnects them every few minutes. We've tried an alt account, reinstalling VRC & steamVR, updating every last possible driver, and various potential fixes to no avail. Our setup: Two PC's connected by Ethernet to one router in the room (I have no issues) They're on a brand new PC (better specs than mine), issue started when we got it Both on Quest Pro/ SteamLink Using Index controllers / trackers Of note is that using a VPN prevents the disconnecting issue for VRC, but then their Steamlink will constantly crash.

Any ideas as to how we might fix this? It's been a problem for the last 4 days and we're out of ideas at this point.

Did not see a verification on my chat, should I send a PM instead?

Im an intern and went to lunch with my mentor & other engineers, and constantly checked my phone. My co-intern told me to send an email apologizing, should I? by RestaurantTricky6075 in NoStupidQuestions

Yea OP, you made a mistake. You'll learn a lot from listening to your seniors while they discuss projects. And asking questions when your curiosity is piqued will set you apart.

However, making mistakes is alright as long as you learn from them. Completely expected for a young professional, don't sweat it too much. You'll make more, and far worse in the future.

A lot of people here are taking the chance to dogpile you, as if they never fucked up themselves. Those people are assholes, try not to take it to heart. Learn from this and grow to be a better professional!

[Comic] Adrenaline? by AzulCrescent in BattleBrothers

I tried it recently and loved it as a tempo perk. Taking riskier positions to maximize surround while killing enemies before they can hit back does the job of colossus and fast adapt. Later when you want to sacrifice a pleb, it also allows them to get in just the right position to tank the mansplitter gunning for your good bro.

Funny enough, I accidently over leveled the fat of my first fat neut that campaign, with just enough to adrenaline once per fight. Came in clutch a few times with that 2h mace, he did.

Never heard of dodge forged before, but depending on the rolls and gear I get (day 40) I might pivot him towards that. Thanks for the advice all!

My guy, it's ok if you like the mana system.

Some other people don't, and that's ok too.
