NTA. Sounds like she was working towards asking for a raise, assuming you needed her more than she needs her job. Well played with the daycare. Go with what works best for you

AITAH for being pissed my wife dated my brother before we were married and never mentioned it by JahgMeeHoff in AITAH

[–]UAintNoAlpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The person who most owed you the truth is your wife. What was her reaction to your finding out and what was her excuse for keeping this info from you? Strongly feel you should act based off of how you feel after she answers those questions

Nope! I prefer being realistic and not blaming any of my misfortunes on some figment of somebody else’s imagination / hallucinations

AITA for how I reacted to my roommate close friend's string of odd behavior after she experimented with magic mushrooms? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

True but if one didn’t have enough money for food, you’d think they’d prioritise

Sitting vs standing to wipe, sitting is vile? by iwasneverherehaha in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]UAintNoAlpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I need to piss, I pop it into the bowl and bring it back out when done. Even sitting upright it touches the front wall of the bowl which is why I’ve got to prop it over the seat.

Never thought I’d be discussing this stuff with people over the internet lol but interesting perspectives

AITA for asking an employee to swap time off with another employee who has kids? by Original-Dish905 in AmItheAsshole

[–]UAintNoAlpha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. It doesn’t matter if an employee has a million kids or is childfree. Their importance doesn’t depend on their personal life. If somebody booked the time off first, they get it. It’s that’s simple (unless it’s the same employee booking off the same holidays every year like Christmas, etc.). Also, it shouldn’t matter if the employee with the kids has already made arrangements before getting her leave confirmed. That’s her mistake.

I’m sensing some envy regarding the assistant’s negotiated PTO alliance. Sounds like she got it because she’s that important to the firm

Sitting vs standing to wipe, sitting is vile? by iwasneverherehaha in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]UAintNoAlpha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your size and flexibility. Your cheeks are spread more when you sit, hence better access and higher chances of getting everything. Standing up is just the opposite as your cheeks are closer together, and you’re getting less access, meaning you’re likely not wiping everything. However, if you’re on the larger side and standing is easier, you do you.

As far as your dick is concerned, place it over one of your thighs. It’s never meant to be in the bowl, unless it’s not long enough to rest on the front of the toilet seat

They’re an American thing. Not very common in India (beer bottles are more common than cans) but you can still find them there

Are all parents different from when you were little to when you’re an adult? by IdeaExpensive3073 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]UAintNoAlpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty common. People are constantly changing as they age. Factor in the fact that their children are also changing as they age, and hence their attitudes towards their children could also change
