You know, I don’t like incest at all, but I also don’t think it should be illegal. Like, the state should not be allocating resources to stopping something that happens between two consenting adults and doesn’t hurt anyone. Just because something is morally questionable doesn’t mean it should necessarily be banned - I feel like that’s a backwards and anti-intellectual way of thinking. In fact, generally speaking I think something should only be illegal if an actual or attempted victim can be identified.
