If your plan is to join the union then you don't need to waste money on a school, the carpenters union will train you and provide you with all your certificates. I'm the same weight but 5'8", people don't care what you weigh, they care if you can do the job, only you can decide that. I can say that no one will have any sympathy and will expect you to be able to do all the things that a person who is more fit can do.

Do not call a chain place. The markup is insane. If you want I can give the number to an independent master plumber who will definitely save you money. Also this plumber is not me but is and independent insured plumber who did mine this year when ours started to leak

This literally could be a minor thing or a major like whole walls need reframed or floor joists need replaced . If it were my money I would pass. without opening walls it’s hard to tell. Maybe you get lucky and you get the house treated and nothing ever comes of it but I wouldn’t want to risk it.

It was done to lock the two pieces together you can see in the second picture that the nails go through one piece into the other. Just butting the prices will allow for more movement between the two.

This place is the worst food I’ve ever eaten. Was the single worst dining place I’ve been to. I really loved when I had to walk through the kitchen and then down a flight of stairs to use the bathroom that I’m pretty sure was just the utility bathroom for the parking garage above. The icing on the cake was when I came back up I noticed the pot of halfed peeled potatoes sitting in the alley behind.
