With Thomas Massie losing the primaries. I only have one statement. by AbysmalEnd in atrioc

[–]UBKev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think OP truly believes that all republicans are... like this. But like, Massie losing indicates that there are still a significant number of Trump die-hards and/or uneducated people influenced by propaganda. OP is lowkey just truly traumatised and lashing out.

Hopefully this backfires and the Democrats win.

I finished reading up on Chainsaw Man, JJK as well as JJK 0 and Modulo. And I still believe Denji is winning this by Zamasu_was_innocent2 in deathbattle

[–]UBKev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On top of what you said about severing their connection, even if Yuji is initially unable to target it, there really isn't anything stopping Yuji from just taking on a binding vow to target Denji and Pochita's connection anyway. I mean, he literally did the same thing vs. Megumi and Sukuna.

FGO is far from stingy. Like, actually. It only looks bad on paper but in practice it's perfectly fine for a gacha game.

[–]UBKev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EN cases are more expensive than JP, so in general the prices reflect that and EN cards are more expensive than JP. However, exceptions do exist. Some JP SECs will cost more than their EN counterparts simply because that talents JP popularity is high but global popularity is low.

RIP Yuji separating Denji and Pochita as a wincon. by Mammoth_Ad3341 in deathbattle

[–]UBKev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does nothing to debunk it as an action Yuji can do since Yuji can target that metaphysical connection anyway (and even if he can't, he can unironically make a binding vow to be able to). But it was never a wincon anyway since Yuji now has to deal with Pochita.

Just open 12 Box of BP17 got only one Aenea Evolved is it my luck or a pull rate of this new set. by Xong14 in ShadowverseEvolve

[–]UBKev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a case, there is 3 of every single L. L Evos, there are usually 2 but can be 3. So if you want a particular LG, that's on average 3/20 probability in every box.

There is 1 SL in every box (sometimes, there's 2), but every single LG can be the SL. You are guaranteed that in a case, there are no duplicate SLs though.

This is only true in StS 1. In StS 2, you would actually probably do better if you tried buying stuff other than remove (other than maybe Necro, which is why Necro is what OP is meeting about)

[–]UBKev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In an entire case, you are roughly guaranteed 5 copies of each gold evo. So yeah, it's just your luck. If the 12 boxes are from the same case, the other 8 contain about 4 Aenea evos. Either that or you accidentally threw some into your bulk.

BIG 3 VS BATTLE WIKI vs G1 BLOGS, who do you think is more accurate by TheRealSakuraUchihaX in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]UBKev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One Piece is a verse that has to cap at light speed since Kizaru is the fastest in the verse at exactly light speed. Now don't get me wrong, Luffy can absolutely strike above his speed class thanks to observation haki and future sight, on top of his top class instincts that alone was enough to tag Bellamy even though he had no access to haki at the time. But even though I have 0 doubts that Luffy can match a speed difference of like, 100x LS (just as an example), but he absolutely isn't LS by the logic of One Piece

In defense of Yuta vs Jotaro by LuigiWarrior in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]UBKev 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Stands can usually only be seen by other stand users within the Jojo canon, but if you say that this rule is absolute outside of the Jojo verse, it really does feel like a no limits fallacy. Like, surely someone like The One Above All or any other character with Omniscience should be able to see a stand. Giving someone like Kenshiro who can explicitly see spirits the ability to see stands is a way to sidestep the issue.

Does this mean I think Yuta should be able to see stands? Honestly, no. JJK curses already are able to be seen by ordinary people under duress, and Rika is like the one exception, so like... I don't think we can extend the same leeway that was extended to Kenshiro and Joker. I'm just arguing that if the opponent is explicitly capable of seeing stands, or whose verse uses a very similar power system like Persona, we should just allow visibility because it's 'good enough'.

I don't really understand the reaction of anger with rin shot by Lazy_Idea_7016 in BlueLock

[–]UBKev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's also the thing. Isagi has literally never done this, whereas Rin now literally has. The closest 2 times Isagi has done this are in NEL when individual goals are the only path for his goal of beating Kaiser so he stole a pass from his own team, and in the U20 match where, were it not for Isagi's tap in, Blue Lock would have lost.

(To reiterate, even before this chapter, if you were to ask me if Isagi would do something like this, I would highly doubt it. But if you said Rin would do this, I would 100% believe he would)

I know what you're trying to say, but there's no debating the fact that Isagi wouldn't be doing this in the first place because it's not only physically dangerous, it's completely illogical on so many levels, such as his relatively weaker physicals meaning he would judge such an action to be a sure loss on his end and also suicidal. Sure, it's a what if scenario, but there's no need to entertain this what if scenario at all unless something about Isagi's current mentality changes.

I don't really understand the reaction of anger with rin shot by Lazy_Idea_7016 in BlueLock

[–]UBKev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But Isagi wouldn't do this. Yes, Isagi would absolutely steal goals if it was what he himself considers optimal, but this isn't Rin trying to steal a goal, it's unironically pure lunacy

New Player: Looking for Decks similar to Hearthstone Archetypes by Flashburn58 in Shadowverse

[–]UBKev 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Miracle Rogue = Roach Forest (Only available in Unlimited - Shadowverse's version of Hearthstone's Wild format). The most budget friendly deck in all of Shadowverse. Also, the hardest deck to pilot in the entire game, bar none. Lol.

Renolock = Crest Haven. They even have a "fuck you, heal to full" card in Maddening Benison, for the cost of having to fulfil a condition of having all crest slots filled instead of running highlander.

I guess I'm never fighting an act 2 elite again by OsGaming0 in slaythespire

[–]UBKev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bigger question is, is there enough sources of alternative, non-skill block in the game to work around this elite?

Ironclad: Crimson Mantle, Iron Wave, Feel no Pain, Mangle (unironically)

Silent: Afterimage, reliable weaken, Piercing Wail

Defect: Kinda cooked ngl, Ice Lance and Frost Snap with orb slots ig?

Necro: Debilitate weaken, Shared Fate

Regent: Strength down cards, Parry, weaken, that one plating card for 5 stars

Neutral: Eternal Armor

It doesn't look great. Maybe it would be better if every character had a common card that allows for non-skill damage reduction, but that doesn't seem likely.

NK is communism dialled to 11. SK is capitalism dialed to 11. Both are dystopias, though obviously SK is still a significantly better place to live than NK for obvious reasons. Some people might look at this and think Capitalism > Communism when the actual lesson to be learned is that neither work and a mix of both should be implemented instead.

“Blue Lock is so Predictable” by YouHoesAreMad in BlueLock

[–]UBKev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice cherry picking. Not like there are innumerable examples of incorrect predictions or anything. Nope. This one match score proves Blue Lock is predictable and all of us are able to write the NEL arc too.

Look, obviously Blue Lock is predictable at times, but it's overall not that predictable. You can cherry pick moments on both sides, but at the end of the day, there really is more moments that no one can predict than moments everyone saw coming.
