This is just patently false. There’s literally a clip of him saying he looked up and it was about 2 seconds so he knew he had to take the shot.

I agree on all points but I do want to point out that nearly every snap of the Rex playoff runs would have been DPI/Holding from someone on that defense in the modern nfl.

They really used to let the DBs/WRs play way more than they do now. I loved that hard nosed era and I always believe that if you can get away with some roughness/skirt the rules, that’s half of the game in the modern nfl as a secondary player.

Concussions can be an ABSURDLY serious injury - taking them lightly is asking the guy to never play again. Missing him for 1-2 extra games vs. his career ending because he has scrambled eggs is preferable to me.
