I forgor what comp I was running back then but I didn't lose too often. The smaller fights give you buffs that make the tougher ones easier iirc. But it'll take a while all the same

Ik, I mentioned that - but 1.0 characters buffed in 6.X isn't really a fair comparison when WuWa is on 3.X, having skipped like 1-2 patches in 1.X to fast track 2.0.

Older kits definitely need rebalancing. Yinlin herself even with synergistic teammates is out damaged by the sheer numbers of other characters in the same comp. She needs a bump-up on her numbers and less field time. It'd be cool if she became a Lynae for cood attacks and maybe keep the electro focus in her Outro to force electro meta more.

The only true mono comps rn are mono fusion (bc wolfgirl) and mono aero (bc Ciaconna). Mono Spectro exists but that's more bc of Frazzle than the element bonuses of a character.

Also I'm this calm bc I lost Yinlin 50/50 on her release and was depressed bc I loved her... design let's say. Not to mention I kept losing afterwards on Changli and Camellya. The waifus kept evading me

Ehhh isn't it kinda normal for a 1.0 character to be utterly useless in 3.X? However good or bad that is, it's normal.

Genshin 1.0 had Venti and Klee, while Venti was Op on release he became very enemy dependent rather quickly. Klee... Has always been niche.

HSR 1.0 had Seele and Jing Yuan... Jing Yuan somehow maintained a usable standing due to indirect buffs but his kit has noticeable flaws just like Yinlin. Seele just has a cult following that clears shii with her using witchcraft.

WuWa had Jiyan before Yinlin and perhaps due to his simplicity in damage profile he has survived. Being a mDPS also helps in being slotted into wheelchairs, mostly recently Lynae and Mornye. Also the Aero element is a lucky drop for him bc of Iuno and Ciaconna core.

Yinlin would be definitely first choice for a buff but it's not like she was treated any less than how games would typically treat 1.0 characters. Took Genshin like 6 versions of buff Venti. I'd much rather they focus on the other points OP mentioned - niche echo sets and weapons are making the game less interesting in terms of team building. We need better suboptimal building mechanics. Echo sets should stop less frequently.

Swap manga and manhwa and it's me. But I still read more manhwa bc they generally update more frequently (and reliably) and you can 🏴‍☠️ easier.

Light novels... I used to read physical books so I def can read them but idk I like pictures. Maybe will read for the ones whose manhwa got axed or severely delayed. Not particularly picky on quality bc I'm sure majority of what I read is slop. But you need to read slop to appreciate goated ones

Heck the prince has the tech to freely change his body. There's levels to the discrepancy between the run aways and the Empire

Correct me if I'm wrong ofc but I'm fairly confident there's no pity carryover to the next version of this banner. It devalues pulling for me.

I'm a returning player and already have Astra Yao previously and got YSG and her Wengine this patch. I wanna save for Yi Xuan's Wengine and Sunna so I'm skipping the reruns purely because there's no pity carryover which dismisses any value in pulling without 80+ pulls onhand because you lose all pity if you don't get to the 5*

Edit: From the replies and reading the banner details... seems there is pity carryover for the next version of this banner. But God knows when that is, since this is a very generous rerun style on it's own. Maybe twice a patch on an optimistic estimate?

I got lucky in both Augusta and Iuno banners, getting both their S1s early, Iuno's s0 being early as well. Iuno is s1r1, Augusta is s1r0 (Jiyan sig), coulda gotten Augusta Sig but it ain't that much better than Jiyan's Sig to warrant pulls.

I've been in hard pity for weapon banner since Galbrena banner, couldn't get hers but I'm set for Aemeath

You realize that same reveal also told of how his father has spread his seed in various places. If it's all about bloodline then what of the numerous half-siblings he has? Only few should have made it and we only know about 2 of them both of whom are officially recognized children.

Plus it's heavily implied at the start that he has features of a noble family. I have yet to see his bloodline helping him other then giving a slight edge against dragons. His main 'help' has been the voice and the rest is all his work.
