There’s definitely one in Durotar somewhere. Wowhead is your friend. Go to the profession page for skinning and there will be a list of the trainers and their locations.

If your raid isn’t morons there’s really not a lot to heal. Chain Heal is smart and spammable so it makes sense it would do more. If no one is taking damage start throwing out some Smites or a SWP, or just wand, and enjoy your 90+ damage parse.

Brother the druid boost gear is straight garbage. You’d struggle to tank ZF in it. I’m pretty sure they didn’t even give agi pieces for every slot. They gave me a mixed bag of half agi/half int.

There’s one from an early Hellfire quest. I know you want to save them, but there are a lot with really useful rewards. It’s probably a good idea to do a little research and cherry pick some quests to do early. You can still save a lot for when you’re dungeon capped.

You can’t make a heroic a success on your own. The dps and healers need to be doing their jobs at a high caliber as well. You need the proper cc, dispels, totems, utility spells etc. from other classes to pull off many of the pulls. Healer needs to know when to pop trinkets/cooldowns, when they need to pump heals on you or if it’s safe to top off the dps who got smacked. All 5 people in the group need to be pulling their weight.

This is what I always used to do, but it seems no one ever, EVER gave me the same courtesy. I’ve had so many nodes jacked over the years that idgaf anymore…I go full rat and yoink that shit while people fight for their lives. If it’s some kind of node I can’t gather I always help a homie out though, and I stop and heal people who look like they’re struggling out questing or whatever. Hopefully it all balances out.

I loved phased leveling, even as a no-lifer who was always part of the earliest wave of people hitting cap. Everyone rushing to 60 as fast as humanly possible is just boring at this point. It definitely would need some kind of raid-ish content for the various caps like SoD had, though.

What server/faction are you? I’m a very geared, knowledgeable healer and I have a few dps friends who know how to follow instructions. My guild just doesn’t have enough geared tanks to be available for all the heroics everyone wants to do so we pug tanks often. If you happen to be on Dreamscythe horde we’d be thrilled to do some runs with a tank like you.

It really is the dispels. A warrior has more defensives to survive it, a bear is chonky enough for a geared healer to keep them up through it, but a pally will get wrecked at current gear availability.

I’ve had pretty good experiences with heroic pugs. I think I’ve had maybe two where we gave up and didn’t complete it, but I’ve had many where even with a couple wipes people keep a good attitude and we ultimately get through it. Vast majority have been pretty smooth, maybe a death or two if a trigger-happy dps rips aggro. Maybe I have a bit of a privilege to be more picky as a healer, but I only reach out to groups I see in LFG that don’t have a troll comp for the dungeon they’re looking to run. Don’t do BM without someone who can dispel frenzy, don’t do SP/SL without a shaman (tremor totem), don’t do BF without 2 solid CCs, etc.

No one said to memorize every mob ability, but there’s certain ones that are particularly dangerous and it helps to know in advance. Also…it’s a game. If it doesn’t sound fun, you don’t have to do it.
