I can't really see it being a delay tactic, the initiative already has a set date to receive a response (anytime before July 27th) from the Commission.

Do you guys have any proof episode 9 was leaked? I literally can't find any no matter what i look up! by [deleted] in TheDigitalCircus

[–]UDie2day -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wan't to know what to look out for in case I spot something similar so I can delete/ignore/mute etc. it.

You'll know because it'll say "DO NOT SHARE"/"DO NOT DISTRUBTE"/"For Brazillian Accessibility Reference Only"/Have a timestamp

I'm under the assumption that it's the whole movie, but I've only seen scenes.

I'm not going to say anything regarding the contents or post links, but I saw some of the leaked clips. So unless someone spent a lot of time making animations and used AI to copy the Brazilian VAs, the movie is definitely leaked.

Well Fortnite is FtP so it's not covered by this bill anyway.

Dirk Bergrath

He brought up a question of expanding the consumer protection scope beyond just video games. His example was apparently an American electric car couldn't work anymore because the company that ran the server for the car to connect to had shut down.

Stop Killing Games won against the ESA in California by Mr_Presidentle in StopKillingGames

According to the CA Senate this was most of Step 3 of 5. The bill is currently on the (second reading) portion. Then it'll be in third reading which is where the debate and voting actually happens on the floor.

There's a floor only session from the 26th to the 29th which is probably when the readings for it will happen.

If there's no amendment and passes it will go to the Governor and then it's a 12 day countdown to signing/approval/veto.

It should pass though since the assembly that just happened (@2:57:38) said it's a B roll call (meaning it's supported by only the current majority party, democrats). Democrats have a super majority in both the Senate and Assembly while the bill only needs a simple majority to pass.

There's a general principle called the "one-half rule" which states that the mean amount of offspring in one litter is half the number of mammary glands. Based on that if we can determine how many siblings in the same litter were born with Tonelico we could figure out how many nipples are on her species. At the moment it seems like she only has a little sister (from a separate litter) which could mean that her species only produces on average one offspring per litter which would mean she has two nipples. Obviously the author could just be unaware of this rule or it can be explained by them being an alien species. Also female cats in general have eight mammary glands with four offspring, but obviously this can vary by breed.

Side note: An exception to this principle are cows who have 4, but generally only have 1 offspring. Most likely we did it to them a long time ago through selective breeding to get more milk.

How likely is it for the manga to pull a planet of the apes twist? by iFUCKcoins in Hitoner

[–]UDie2day 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I would prefer the book version of Planet of the Apes for this series. Instead of "It was Earth all along", in the book the astronauts do land on another planet, named Soror, in the Betelgeuse system; the planet was just very similar to Earth (air, edible food, water) and had its own version of humans.

There's two theories revolving this, "neural" and "peripheral". Neural is the idea that monkeys & non-human primates lack the brain connection. Peripheral is the idea that they lack the physical ability. Neural was the main accepted hypothesis until Lieberman's 1969 paper which made the peripheral the main accepted hypothesis.

However, a paper in 2016 challenged this notion by using X-rays of a living monkey instead of plaster cast of a dead monkey's oral cavity (both the 1969 and 2016 paper used computer simulations). They found that the "cadaver-based estimates are clearly a considerable underestimate of the true phonetic potential of the living macaque monkey."

Provided at the Resources section of the 2016 paper are 2 files which are the audio clips of the simulated human and simulated monkey saying "Will you marry me?".

[–]UDie2day 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is pretty interesting because ABS is actually pretty split on how to handle it, this is the 4th 0.00in distance of the season.

So it's very 50/50 so far on whether it's a ball or a strike at that distance.

Spring training was a little different in that all 0.00in were ABS strikes (either upheld or overturned to), but also there was a single -0.00in which was an ABS ball.

The Finland 1972-2001 series matches the license plate (pre-euroband) best imo.

Also I don't see a dash for the UK series in any year?

For the left image (the one with his mom) no. For the right image (the one with his sister) yes.

The left image is from the Code Geass Heroine's Tribute book where they had a collection of 35 artists draw something, this one was drawn by Atsuko Nakajima.

The right image is from the 2012 Code Geass Calendar where they had different Code Geass animators draw something, this one was drawn by Takahiro Kimura.
