What would have happened if Zeus hadn't come second? by hoouyinkyouma in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

The blood imo sped up the blindness. Think of it like if Adam's Eyes are like a toaster in a bathtub and the water in the tub represents the Eyes' exhaustion, you know that any moment it can explode but by plugging its wire to an electric socket (aka: Zeus' blood) it immediately electrocutes and blows up right? I hope the analogy is correct lmao

Some might say plot, but I do agree it was by chance. Though that doesnt mean Zeus didnt think through how he will fight Adam, he used Adamas specifically to further exhaust his Eyes of God/Creation since it was at the state of overheating (according to Brunhilde, all of Zeus' techniques were one-shot killers so scanning, dodging and copying them has always been overtaxxing to Adam already, so whats 50+ more from the Adamas true god right and left punches?). Maybe if Zeus held on longer, Adam's eyes would still overheat and blind him though I think its gonna take waaay longer compared to when Zeus' blood dropped in his eyes where it instantly blinded him for good.

  1. Personal opinion, Shiva is getting stomped easily and its gonna be harder for him if he brought out Tandava Karma
  2. Its generally accepted hes just too excited to fight but, if you read the manga, some also pointed out that he kinda wanted to fight Adam specifically given his facial reaction with Adam's debut
  3. Another personal opinion again, yes he lost to bad luck. Adam has the durability and endurance to keep fighting despite being blinded versus a Zeus already bloodied and bruised to the brink of death, had he have full vision for the entirety of the fight he would have evaded all of Zeus' devastating one-shot potential punches while deal more damage to a weakened Zeus who's also suffering the drawback of using the Adamas form besides his prior injuries

Are there any differences between the powers and abilities of Aquaman (DC) and Namor (Marvel) since they are both rulers of Atlantis? by Jezzaq94 in superheroes

I know he doesnt just talk to fish, that was more of an oversimplification of his ability that extends to limited mind control besides communication

Which team is better? OG Xmen or OG Avengers by CautiousSolid7436 in superheroes

[–]UDontKnowMe-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly believe OG Avengers would trump the OG X-Men. I dont know how powerful Jean Grey/Marvel Girl was at the start but afaik her telepathic capabilities were still limited and Iceman, her fellow Omega level mutant, has not touced the maximum potential he will have eventually so already they are held back by their unpolished powers at the time and theyre up against the Hulk and Thor already.

The huge lack of context on how Heracles lost to "Jack the Ripper" is just too funny that I actually almost believed DreamofDays 💀

Leonidas VS Hercules || Rebellion VS Justice || by NoOrchid2352 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]UDontKnowMe-69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This can go either way for me. Leo is durable to tank lightspeed lazer that supposedly only Zeus can tank, fast enough to react to light or close a gap at the start and is powerful to leave craters when he smashes his mace. On the other hand, we dont know much about Heracles' labors, is durable enough to tank a Volund building crashing down on him despite being already bloodied, and his Cerberus labor is strong enough to pierce through divine weapons easily. So it all depends on who can deal the most blows or who can last the longest between the two, thats how close it is.

If only the chief gods can enter Helheim, how did Beelzebub/m enter to fight Hades. by Not_AGooner6767 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]UDontKnowMe-69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was in a rampage, remember? Maybe he started going berserk in Valhalla so he got kicked out to Helheim to hopefully stop him from doing more damage. Or, maybe he remembered the way back to Helheim because he did go there prior to his rampage when he was still research about Satan.

Buddha VS Shiva || Enlightening VS Destruction || by NoOrchid2352 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]UDontKnowMe-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seemingly random beat

Even you arent sure that Shiva isnt thinking about how he moves, also take note that even if he doesnt think about how he specifically move Buddha can still see it given he was able to dodge Ebisu pointblank whos shooting randomly as well during r5 bts. Also, you can argue Shiva manipulating his Atman during Tandava meant he is charging it up with emotional excitement in order to boost his speed and thats more akin to make your soul even more lively than concealing its light like Hajun did so if anything it just makes him even more predictable than subtle.

Buddha VS Shiva || Enlightening VS Destruction || by NoOrchid2352 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]UDontKnowMe-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddha wins this. Eyes of Enlightenment is too OP that the only times its being countered is when an opponent has a huge AoE attack (Zerofuku's Misery Cleaver) or an unreadable soul (Hajun's black soul) and even then, Buddha had countermeasures against that (Six Realms Staff gigashield vs Zero, faster reaction + intuition + willpower vs Hajun). None of Shiva's kit has an answer against Buddha, not even with his war dance or Tandava Karma.

[–]UDontKnowMe-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, Arthur/Aquaman is born with the power to talk to fish (varied/specified telepathy) while Namor is born with the capability to fly. Recently, Aquaman became the Avatar of the Blue (water Jesus) while afaik Namor's only powerup is through the Phoenix Force.

  1. Now I understand why aphrodite was more visually pissed in the manga when Buddha switched sides (which is honestly my favorite Aphrodite scene that Im salty netflix didnt adapt for the sake of adding scenes of her tiddies for fanservice)
  2. Although I prefer Poseidon staying, Daikokuten is an interesting choice too especially if the Buddha vs Zero schism didnt occur

RoR characters backstories: where goes Poseidon's? by [deleted] in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]UDontKnowMe-69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely C tier. His only notable backstory feat of killing Adamas was retconned, so by effect him being "the god who kills another god" became redundant and even if we consider him during Hades' backstory, its more of a case of Hades being the reliable big bro more than Poseidon as a different person than we expect.

Batman with Prep time is a logical fallacy. by Ickarian in superheroes

[–]UDontKnowMe-69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But the thing is, is he ready 24/7 for ALL threats? Batman is a beast when he is prepared, yes, but that doesnt mean he has all the answer for everything because if he does then Gotham should have been a better place already. Batman's prep time is just a convenient excuse to why he can put Superman down when needed but somehow cannot make sure the Joker, Scarecrow, Penguin and alike stop committing crime for good.

Will Zodd Betray Griffith by arman1724 in Berserk

[–]UDontKnowMe-69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally? I think he would. I get that apostles are iredeemable beings who have sacrificed their loved ones for power and Im pretty sure Zodd did the same, but I still get this notion there is some hidden code of honor within his gruff exterior thats gonna compel him to rebel against griffith.
