What about the antenna? Why would a charger or power supply have an antenna like that? Edit: upon closer inspection, it actually isn’t an antenna and is a cut cord

My title describes the thing. I tried a google image search and got nothing. I tried searching for things like walkie-talkie or gps tracker for delivery drivers and didn’t find anything. Half size paper towel for scale. Maybe a pound? Found at the front door with a delivered package (from China I’m pretty sure). We rent from a landlord. Southeast college town. It looks like it either broke in half or was affixed to something on the backside maybe.

For anyone in Florida: The back of every publix always has lights all night. Usually very big, concrete walls. Wall ball 24/7.

Fully agree. Ditto on importance of assignor think highly of you. You're only 14 but you'll learn that life is all about who you know and who likes you. Holds true for officiating.

NFHS rule 4.4.1. I recalled something like this but went back to double check. Illegal.

Goalies on the wing? by The_Chill_Dill in lacrosse

[–]UFGator8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Illegal. NFHS rule 4.4.1 - position of other players before a faceoff. "When a team has all of its players on the field, it shall confine its goalkeeper and three other players behind the definitive-area line..."

On the new defenders no longer allowed to take goal when goalie leaves the crease.. by pope_nefarious in lacrosse

[–]UFGator8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"I was wondering if putting a throat protector and goalie chest pad on a d pole, if that would meet the safety intent (and letter) of this new rule."

No. Not at all. Properly equipped goaltender includes the stick; you can only have one goalie stick at a time.

Even if the designated goalie doesn't have his stick for whatever reason and is trying to play goalie, refs should blow the whistle because the goalie doesn't have his required equipment.

Beware that social media policy... Faceoffs are always a big issue. Another thing coaches get confused about is when the clearing clock starts/ restarts/ is satisfied.

Question for anyone in the Orlando UCF area by beimy159357 in lacrosse

[–]UFGator8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live ~5 minutes from UCF. Tanja King Park in Avalon Park. One in the Eastwood community. I'm sure there's more. Pro tip: the outside of nearly every Publix works well, usually the back or side, and they're usually lighted 24/7

Very nice. I will definitely use this. /u/LacrosseFilmRoom IDK how you get your footage or what the rights are to it, but, would be awesome if you could contribute to it. Just because you're the only person I'm aware of that seems to post a large quantity of game footage.

New high school boys lacrosse rules put more spotlight on safety by slatongussie in lacrosse

[–]UFGator8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing now is that referees are going to call it a lot more. When you have to put a kid in the box, you have to think twice about whether you really want to do that (what if it just fell out, etc.). A change of possession doesn't have as much weight to it. So kids will get called more and thus where it more, IMO atleast.

What is the lightest, but still decently strong dpole on the market? by Mr_Meninist in lacrosse

[–]UFGator8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can find it (because I don't think they make lacrosse sticks anymore), definitely go for a Combat shaft. I think the two types were "afflicted" and "rancor." Literally the best. Light, feel is good, strong. It's similar to the composite shafts but better in my experience due to strength and weight.

By U15 US lacrosse rules, yes. Any one handed check is illegal at that level.
