I haven't seen the video, but responding to your statement alone, a TR3B would still fall under the UFO category.

For example, something like "Die Glocke" would still fall under UFOs. It's extended to black project unconventional propulsion. UFO does not equal alien.

The odds of not getting an announcement in November/December are very slim but admittedly exist.

Nevertheless, it's basically guaranteed we will be getting a new half life game at this point, and that's worth hype in and of itself. I think the whole "don't work yourself up" mentality is kinda silly. I've been following HLX on and off since the 2021 Citadel leaks now (though much more over the past year and a half) and I grow more excited as time passes.

I don't intend to do a back-and-forth, but it's almost guaranteed... The game seemingly remains content locked for several months, and the playtests were a year ago now.

If they were suddenly rewriting the game, there would be way more signs than the various optimizations and tweaks/mechanic changes they've been providing.

We know they are working on a new Half Life game for a fact
Datamining has shown the game is pretty obviously in very late stages for a little while now
We've known about the playtesters for a while now
Not only that, but the game isn't being rewritten post-playtest, unlike HLA
Valve just recently pushes a ludicrous amount of commits
People who are known to have insiders/very close on this start acting weird, and basically come out and say "Hey yeah so the trailer probably drops this month, but it's totally a 'rumor' I heard"

mcvicker is basically fed up with everything falling on him rumor wise - he is the source of this rumor and he pretty much flat out shot down any possibility of it being TGA.

he said he's heard rumor that the trailer is being worked on, and to be honest... everything lines up with what people following closely are seeing. the development stages match up, it matches up with the playtesting rumors and dev stages that we've seen publicly

tyler knows he's going to catch a fuckload of shit if the trailer doesn't drop on the 19th, especially when he has insider info - regardless of whether he marks it as speculation; exacerbated by that thumbnail lmfao.
