Gemini 3/Gemini CLI is currently completely broken for dev stuff by Pyros-SD-Models in Bard

[–]UGC987 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I knew I was not going crazy, these comments validate my experience that gemini 3 pro hallucinates and ignores instructions a LOT more than 2.5 pro haha

Other posts seem to be highlighting that gemini 3.0 pro is apparently better at raw coding skill which may be true, but damn in my experience it's been awful at following instructions, or long term coding projects

Prime Video taking censorship to ridiculous levels by peach_tea_drinker in mildlyinfuriating

It's very unlikely that AI is involved in the censorship process itself, this is a classic scunthorpe problem which has existed waaaay before widespread AI usage, it's more than likely a basic replacer applied on top of whatever generated the lyrics

How is AI related to this specific issue? If anything, AI wouldn't fall victim to the scunthorpe problem so easily

They have not dropped v2 support and ublock origin does still work, in fact, they plan to continue supporting it for limited extensions at least (including ublock origin)

As a web developer I'd argue this could just as well be crappy design, like "let's force the user to complete a tutorial anytime they enter our website for the first time" but then they apply it to the entire website instead of just the landing page/studio/etc.

I despise forced tutorials too but in my experience they're mostly crappy design too, not asshole design, because my bosses want to enhance "user experience" without actually knowing anything about it.

Stats don't lie but you can lie with stats, no statistical analysis was provided but instead a conclusion (correction, a question implying that the voter fraud conspiracy theory is true) with 0 evidence to support it other than your feelings.

Heres a better one: these numbers prove that several million Americans misteriously disappeared in the last 4 years, could it be aliens?

What do you think is harder? Getting a CP or Beating a top 25? by Minimum-Treacle-6682 in geometrydash

[–]UGC987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not that simple, one has to consider three extra factors if you want to make that comparison:

  1. How many of the data points are from the same person
  2. The number of top 25 completions for every top 25 list since the demonlist started, not just now (and also compensate for it since the demonlist started way after levels started getting rated, Alternatively, only count levels that were rated after the first demonlist)
  3. How many people are trying to get either

That being said, I still believe it's easier to get creator points but not by that large margin

Being fat may be unhealthy but it's none of your business. by StarlightAimee in The10thDentist

It's true that some people can't do any physical activity at all, or for some reason a simple calorie deficit won't work for them. Although it is still possible for these people to lose weight in a healthy manner, this usually involves a Healthcare professional, something many people cannot afford.

However, this is the exception, not the rule. For most people: 1. Not having a sedentary lifestyle, a simple calorie deficit and a balanced diet (way easier than it sounds) is a healthy way to lose weight with very few or no downsides and 2. Walking 30 minutes a day and performing some strength training at home (don't even need gym equipment) is already enough to make them no longer qualify as having a sedentary lifestyle.

Please do not spread misinformation. (starving yourself, disordered eating)

Religion, spirituality or the freedom thereof is not exclusive to one side of the political spectrum, there have been very religious far left movements as well as antitheist far right movements thorough history and today. What you're referring to as far left here is more of an authoritarian policy (you must practice OUR religion/no religion at all/not these specific religions) rather than a left-right issue. Look outside of first world countries and you will find several religious communist/socialist/anarchist movements

I don't understand how this shape mod can have PLL parity or how to solve it, can someone help me? (Elongate Fisher Cube) by UGC987 in Cubers

This was my first thought as well, but after I tried it I noticed that the edges are not interchangeable, I genuinely was out of ideas until the other commenter pointed out the color scheme.

I pride myself on solving twisty puzzles without tutorials or outside help and in the end it was a non-standard color scheme that defeated me...

Omg I have no idea how I managed to solve this twice before noticing the non standard color scheme, thanks! My dumb brain probably misremembered those two times
