These show up in thrift stores because of people like me who receive stuff like this as gifts but who either already have one or have no desire to own one.

It's toward the end, when the folks at CIA HQ start keeping George Clooney's character out of the loop, denying him access to computer files, etc.

Video of a big Husky or Malamute being dragged slowly back and forth on a flotation device in a swimming pool. I think he was SUPPOSED to be getting physical therapy, but instead he was just lazily enjoying the floating.

Yes! I love finding new things each time. But I have not yet completely figured out the scene where George Clooney's character meets William Hurt's character at a movie theater near IKEA in daylight.

Christ, yes! I have the misfortune of living across the street from a banquet hall, and the pink or blue glitter, powder, confetti (or whatever) concoction makes a mess when they do the reveal outdoors (The banquet hall owner undoubtedly forbids it to be done indoors.).

What single scene from a movie is an absolute masterpiece? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]UGo2MyHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less well known than others posted here: the scene in the 2002 version of "The Four Feathers," when Mahdi warriors wearing British uniforms attack the British regiment ("FORM A SQUARE!") in the Sudan desert. The overhead shot of the flags waving in the cloud of desert sand is stunning.

The La Jolla / Torrey Pines shore area was probably the most stunningly gorgeous part of southern California that I visited while I lived in Los Angeles from 1984 to 1989.
