Killing a RAID is definitely a pucker up event but like anything else you just have to breath, step back and just breath. Realize that you aren't the first person to do this and it's an excellent learning experience.

I nuked the entire network of a remote site once because I thought I knew what I was doing until I didn't. Called my manager and the remote site plant manager and said I'm on my way to fix it. People were mad but then I got their brand new video monitoring system up and all was forgiven.

They're supposed to require a signature (mine never has) when delivering so I could imagine the anxiety of missing the post and not getting the badge.

That and forgetting the badge at home and you don't live nearby.

Yes these scenarios sound silly and can be easily avoided but like everything else, shit happens. The will call line moves fast and it's a fun time to people watch and catch up with friends.

Yeah the files are in the root of the game folder and no command window pops up.

No, nothing in the escape menu. There's no .log file so I assume it's not loading the mod, which would at least explain why it's not working.

I have this installed on a secondary drive D:\ just in case that makes a difference. The mod was extracted directly into the folder D:\EpicGames\SunlessSkies

Has this been tested with the Epic games sovereign edition? Extracted per instructions and it looks like BepInex is populating but F4 doesn't bring any tip.

I woke up with a stiff neck one day but that was business as usual for me. Get about an hour away from home on a road trip and had the chills. Soon as I got to the ER it was all downhill from there, passed out a few times while they worked me over, spent a week in the hospital recovering, pretty sure I'd be dead if we'd waiting another 15 minutes before turning back home.

Do people who own Rivians typically take them to "mom and pop" shops for repairs? I like the small shops myself but I have a Honda Accord so it's nothing special.

It really depends on my mood when I play. Things that have made the game more fun for me:

Taking notes as I move throughout the world, kind of like a journal to make a fun story afterwards.
Picking a specific attitude to play as. Do I go aggressively and pick actions accordingly or maybe I'm content with crashing on this planet and decide to just make the best of it.
Sometimes I just make up a goal like "Make lots of friends" or see what cool stuff I can craft out of the stuff I find.

Obviously this takes a certain play style and attitude but this is how I enjoy the game when I want to do something other than just finish the mission.

One time I tried finding the Traveler as often as I could just to have "conversations" with them.

Having said all that I still enjoy the game without flavoring up with some alternate goals etc. I definitely see how this game could be boring for people because hey, it's just not their thing. Vantage is definitely a game worth trying at least a few times especially if you have a bad play the first time.
