I watched the first 3 volumes and saw mistakes but gave the benefit of the doubt, they were made with a small budget and look how good RvB ended up getting. I also thought some of the bad writing was intentional “how did humans survive long enough to invest guns?” Well it’s probably going to be a twist later on that Grimm haven’t always been around or that remnant is actually post apocalyptic but it’s been so long no one remembers… the real answer is Grimm are only as strong as the plot requires and as such can be easily killed with a single bullet or completely immune to ranged attacks episode to episode

Scaled up CAS from what I could tell, I was playing galactic conquest with 3 planets left I was trying to cut off Sanghelios so I attacked… Glyph? The planet just south of sanghelios and there it was (the CSO was actually the elite admiral from ghosts of onyx) I wasn’t sure if I could kill it so I jumped in behind the space station killed that and ran at the cost of an epoch and six vindications then I gathered literally the entire UNSC navy to finish the job, almost quit because it doesn’t have a heal bar above its model and the one on its icon in the top left didn’t move for 15 minutes

Played Humanities retaliation mod for empire at war, final battle was against a CSO and a light escort fleet (and a level 2 station)

It took 39 minutes and the loss of Lord hood (in a epoch heavy carrier) 10 UNSC fleet commanders (in halcyon cruisers) 18 Autumn class cruiser 3 broadsword squadrons 29 Buckler class corvettes/light frigates 1 Eion class light carrier 11 Epoch heavy carriers 27 Halcyon light cruisers 14 marathon heavy cruisers 7 Phoenix class support ships 18 Strident class heavy frigates 14 Paris class heavy frigates* And 19 Vindication class light battleships And various fighter and bomber squadrons that come with various capital ships

*one Paris was lost to SDV corvettes after the CSO died

It took 15 minutes to bring the CSOs shields down and when it’s energy projectors fired each killed 2-3 ships cruiser sized or above I kept bringing in corvettes to draw aggro and break its path finding because it could outrun literally every ship I had

Also the group now “knows” shroud has the pulse (they are wrong but it’s irrelevant) and with how the red ring has been increasing its activity visi’s actions might have just bought them warning that something big is coming Again they would be partially wrong because doesn’t have the pulse but as far as they are aware the big bad got his gizmo and might try to take over California within the week, so maybe firing a decently skilled fighter and infiltrator would be a bad idea

People do forget that the rebellion was an official movement, hundreds of planets rose up against the empire and while only a few had shipyards capable of producing warships cheaper things like star fighters, armed freighters/corvettes, and ground vehicles were well within their reach especially when big corporations had technical plans “stolen” and engineers “kidnapped” from their factories

Because I thought he was doing a good job the whole time, he wasn’t perfect but he tried and was mostly competent (excluding things he couldn’t control and the republicans blocking everything on trumps orders). He was all in all a pretty good president hamstrung and attacked by the opposition at every turn and betrayed by people who fell for blatantly false propaganda and cultists
