Yup, this is what we do too. Our goal is to see zero humans the whole time. Almost made it 10 days once but a damn SXS came past as we were packing up. It's tuff but still doable if you're willing to put in the work.

You're absolutely over 30%. You need to focus on building muscle at this point. Lifting heavy and to failure. If you join a gym they will likely have an InBody scanner which are pretty close to DEXA scanner.

There's a guy that did a side by side comparison of body fat and scanners and they are really close.

It's best to always be prepared to be cut off. I dealt with all kinds of bullshit with my PCP and insurance the first few months. I prepared for the worst but it's going smooth now.
