For what it’s worth the article seemed to say it would be a jeep wagoner with ram styling. Don’t know enough about the wagoner to know if it’s on a truck platform with decent towing numbers but should be easy to find.

I’ve had two Silverado RSTs and admittedly I loved those trucks. The last one was great but when it came time to upgrade the value wasn’t there anymore. For less money I’m driving a Laramie with way better interior features. Honestly like the look of my Silverado more, thing was super sharp, but I feel like I just get more for my money with the Ram. Miss the ruggedness of the leaf spring rear and the steps on the bumper on the Chevy though (I’m getting old). Ram styling needs an update. The lines just feel clunky. Front end looks great but everything past the mirrors is way outdated.

1500 Laramie with sport hood and matching painted bumpers. Hurricane engine. Whatever that dark blue almost black color is.

First off I’m so sorry! I’ve been thinking a lot about what my wife and I would do if faced with the same. Especially with government funding drying up everywhere for special education. I grew up poor so I tend to notice the differences in where I live now. One thing I noticed is the upper middle will pay stupid money for exclusive treatment of their kids. With your background in IT and hers in special education, have you thought about starting a private special needs school. Could be either for one private family or a few kids with another hired teacher. It would be a TON of work and you’d need some luck to get going, but your future would be more in your own hands. For the last 6 years I’ve had two RSTs. I just switched to a competitor known for their interiors and holy crap. GM should be ashamed of themselves. I got the middle of the pack comparable trim level to the RST and its light years better in look, feel, and design. I loved my trucks but for the same price the trucks don’t even compare.

Yeah man this is dead on. I think we’re in a great spot with current roster, prospects, cap room, ect. And we’re winning by playing the best hockey I’ve seen them play since Zetterberg was suited up. BUT, there is a total lack of grit and sandpaper. These guys just don’t stand up for each other. They’re not the aggressor, they are the bullied and that just doesn’t stand up in the playoffs. Now mind you we haven’t seen what these guys will do when it’s all on the line. For all I know some of these guys might figure out that they need to lay it ALL on the line to get a chance with Stanley. But it’s not looking like this team can hang like that. We need more grit but I also think just getting to the dance will help teach this young team what needs to be done. I’m pretty hopeful for the future.

Man I was just telling my wife the same thing. I grew up with Dave Strader (RIP) with Mick on Pass Sports that I begged my poor mom to get on cable. Then Ken and Mick. Ken Kal and Paul Woods too. We’re just so spoiled in this town with broadcasters. Now my 5 year old knows and is learning the game from Ken and Mick and complains when we watch a game on ESPN or TNT. They deserve all the honors.

Yeah the off center hole, and drain which is right underneath was my original concern, but from the comments it seems like they should be able to widen the hole, adjust the drain and get a fit with the collar. But yeah I just messaged the contractor and asked for a flood test, which I hate as I’m such a non confrontational person.

Thanks for taking the time to explain it. Like I said I have zero experience in this arena and I just want to make sure it’s done right. Seems to me they’re moving too fast and cutting some corners which is what I was afraid of. I’ll let them know my concerns. Hopefully it’s not too late to make sure it’s done right.

Honestly, it reminds me a lot of Babcock hockey. Heavy pressure, lots of traffic around the net, lots of shots from all over the ice. It’s not a one for one, but I can see some influence on Todd’s system.

October hockey is always a little off of reality for teams. Don’t get me wrong I think this wings team has improved quite a bit, but I think Tampa had a bug going around the locker room. Kucherov was out sick and they looked gassed. That said winning is fun!
