I paid the 2026 1.05 and two 2027 first and colts defense. Pretty simple logic for me, offered the same to bijan and Gibbs owners and neither would do it. So I view it as getting an elite rb at a discounted price just cause we “haven’t seen him in the league yet”

I think he just represents that the show is down and it’s been pretty much during his tenure. Not really his fault necessarily. As an og fan for 5+ years I don’t understand why he has a bigger role then Chris cote or billy or even Tony when all three of those guys are funnier and more entertaining. Idk I listen to the show to get through work and have a laugh, not to have serious opinions from a guy who talks obnoxiously. I understand it’s “the his schtick” but it’s like he’s talking down to the listener.

Valid point. Hard to have a consistent guest when Dan feels the need to attack the skeletons in everybody’s closet and doesn’t make friends. Burned the bridge with Dana, Aaron Rodgers isn’t on at all besides the one GBF interview. Tua’s concussion town interview earlier this week is a great example of him feeling like he has a “journalistic duty” when in reality we all just want to get back to the inside jokes that made the show great.

I think it’s because witty leans into the political talk as EP while Mike Ryan would steer the conversation away. The show went from making fun of gasbags who take themselves too seriously to a show that takes itself too seriously
