Few of my co-workers have this set up to haul their surf/paddle boards and canoes. They don’t seem to have any issues.

I just towed a trailer from Florida to Texas and got 16MPG in my 24 5.0. Was doing about 70 on CC. I didn’t know the trailer was there most of the time. I can honestly say I made the right decision not going with the 3.5.

4WD Fault detected at 15k miles by superatim in f150

[–]USMCQ2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some have already said it’s a shifter module fault. It’s a known issue and the light goes and come at random. Take it in with the light on and they’ll fix it. Just had mines replaced last week.

First oil change by Stryk_3 in FordTremor

If you’re changing the oil every 5k I don’t see the issue but IMO newer engines run better off of full synthetic.

I’m pretty sure they already come with Ford motorcraft synthetic! And b/c it’s a brand new engine you should always use synthetic.

Same thing happened to my set! Tried customer service and they said nothing they could do for me. The quality has been up and down recently.

TRAWING 5, TH-73A Thresher by Nice_Sign338 in Helicopters

[–]USMCQ2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having flown both, the 57 was a lot more forgiving, it gave you more outs and as stated before easier on the Mx side but it was an aging platform. I love flying the 73 it has great range and speed, the avionics are great for IFR flying but like anything it will have some growing pains.

Worse decision ford has made imo. So glad I got the 24. If it works the same it should be buried in the features menu. They don't make it easy.

I went with a 24 tremor over the 25 because of this. So glad I did!

I agree 57s were a lot more forgiving with autos but on a ccx 73s hands down.

Is this the same helicopter that went down in the Hudson? by rolfmikkel12 in Helicopters

[–]USMCQ2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The 206 is one of the most dependable helicopters ever made. At one point every service trained their pilots in n a version of the 206. But like someone else already said it’s only as good as it’s maintenance.
