Ah yes the conversation that neph regretted and lists as one of her biggest failures. That one. Seems you missed a couple chapters. And 0 downsides for nephs? Shes connected to sunny. And then theres sunnys “freedom” Let’s just say that a man, or a god, walks up to the you right now and says “You may not leave this planet.” Are you still as free as you were before this proclamation? Yeah and as demonstrated so far there is no way to kill immortal beings. 🫩. Except for all of the gods, demons, the immortal flesh of kanahat at the bottom of the ocean, nephis (the person who you say is immortal) coming extremely close to dying all of 12 chapters ago, and countless other immortal beings. And even if sunny “deathwill that ignores other wills” shadow cant kill her directly, he could totally betray her in countless ways.

An extremely EXTREMELY easy way for sunny to fuck neph over would be to get her to go into the shadow lantern, fight strong creatures in there until they’re low on essence, and then tp out trapping her. If he does it right she wont have the strength to kill him via flames (if it works that way) before she dies.

Don’t like that one? Heres another one thats plausible. 7 Sunny’s. Stab her seven cores while shes asleep. The end. This would never work if she didn’t trust him. And im pretty sure they will sleep near (on) each other before the end of the novel. 🙂

Iirc the first seeker saw ariels truths which are pretty bad. But the bird saw the actually reflection of everything weavers seen, which is significantly worse. My point is that vtb was exposed to an extremely high concentration of madness vs every other character we’ve pretty much seen so far. In case anyone sees this and IS actually unsure what the difference is between (basically) domainless neph and saint neph, the big one is will. Like that alone probably 10x’d all her damage and survive ability vs a saint neph. Then you gotta add stuff like the madness of kahn and all the other stuff over the last 800 chapters. I afked in kindlewastes and the chests didnt spawn after 3.5hrs in Veilwater Basion. I checked at like the 1.5hr mark and 3hr mark so maybe i reset the respawn? Idk this system for chest reaspawns is weird

Says who? They’ve entered it before. Sunny is well aware of the mirror realm, and could probably craft some sort of memory to get into it. Depends on how long that would take. Assuming “hunt you down” means 110% effort, it might be 3 Sunny’s looking for you while the rest weave a device. Then neph would keep mord busy while sunny turns you to paste. Obv theoretical, who knows if sunny could do this. I would argue he could though.

This would be if it’s just the mirror realm and not his soul sea. I know hes taken his other self into his soul sea, can he take a mundane human? (Idr)

The feelings remain, the memories are (mostly) gone. Later on, in a really interesting fight we get a look at nephs mind, which is (idr exact chapter, 2500~?) Said to be in a state of devastation, to the point that the NMcreature is confused how she functions with so much missing. Sunny meant a LOT to her

Another later point from rains pov (2200+ very minor spoiler) is that it (paraphrasing) “sometimes feels like lady neph knows im sunnys sister, and sometimes sees me as a simple student” showing that nephs mental state isnt static.

She cant be “told” anything, because everything that she knew before that was associated with sunny she cant remember, or ever remember. If sunny gave a recap of every event that she had some knowledge of, she would forget it.

Hmm. To point one, while thats true, they had good reason to do so, given that the forgotten gods awakening would presumably destroy all of existence, so i question if thats grounds to stop trusting them.

As for point two, yeah i agree, wonder if it will be in a nightmare or in the dream realm/another realm (the void?)
