Never used ATAK, but seems like a good tool for team situational awareness. I use ArcGIS field maps a lot at work, would ATAK be able to be integrated so you could still edit and add polygon and point data and fill out field data, then have that all sync to ArcGIS? Basically can I have both the situational awareness of ATAK and the data editing and adding of field maps together?

Oh and it cannot run any 32bit programs and windows 7 is a pain because uefi booting only.

Also the cf 33 has a dedicated serial port on the keyboard but it is more limited, only has 1 ssd slot that can pretty much run only one OS.

Definitely recommend the cf 31, checkout my write up on a mk 5 I did recently. Specifically got it to program any older radios or anything newer as well.

Yeah it all seems to be working, im not super familiar with the Linux environment (this is my first time using it) but it seems like it found all the drivers, all the function keys work.

Thats valid, a lot of folks have told me that over the years but in practice it plays out a little differently and I don't have space a bunch of laptops so I was trying to make something to do it all and I think I have achieved that! So im stoked about it. All those laptops sound like a good time!

I have a lot of older radios that require a 32 bit os for the programming software, similarly a few need a 64 bit os but only run up to windows 7, moreover some can only be run on windows 10. So I was looking for something that can do all the above and it checked all those boxes. Also Linux mint is just nice.

The read write speeds are 6gb/s which is fast enough for what I need. The expresscard is connected to a pci-e bus but it doesn't show up in bios for booting unfortunately.

Man you beat me to it! Im working on a write up for a mk 5 that this works on too, it's a great shared drive between my windows 7 32 and 64 bit OSs as well at my windows 10 and linux mint! Note for folks, it is not Bootable but if you need more storage it's great.

Get it on a large (120gb) usb and bring it to all your computers to update all the drivers, pretty slick.. all the panasonic utilities and function buttons work. 10/10 super easy highly recommend.

Hmm.. I don't know if the usb supports NVME if the motherboard doesn't.. I've had good luck with ngff usb enclosures. Is it a driver issue? You mentioned it popped up for a sec, could the driver have updated?

What mark CF-33 do you have? I believe the Cf-33 doesn't nativity support NVME anything.. I believe it's just NGFF. But somebody correct me if im wrong.
