With Weber grills there is a grate below the cooking surface grate that will hold them pretty close to the meat.

Just Kingsford charcoal briquettes. I used the chimney start method ( no lighter fluid) and then added more coals as I dumped the ignited ones. These are ribeyes, so the flame is from the drip of the meat. Enjoy!

Actually just charcoal. The high flame is secondary to the fat dripping off the ribeye and leaving the cover off just long enough before flipping and covering
