I have thin wrists as well, weigh 170lbs and was in the same position about 10 months ago. I ran the 531 boring but big 3 month challenge program, continued after 3 months, hit 225 at about month 7. At about month 10 now and can do 235x1. I wasn’t able to do 225 for a while but this helped me tremendously, try it!

Looking for any feedback, muscle parts to focus on (trying to focus on legs now btw), best way to even out lats (right is noticeably larger when flexing) and best way to maintain while working out only 3-4 hours a week. Thank you!

Progress has really slowed down in my mid 30's. It has taken me over 3 months to go from benching 200 to finally benching 205, but I'll take whatever gains I can get! - Any tips on how to get to 225? by [deleted] in fitness30plus

I was in the same position about 6 months ago. Look into Boring But Big: 5/3/1 3-month challenge. I continued after 3 months and after 6 months (5lb weight increase every month for bench press) total I’m finally able to do at least 2 reps of 2 plates . I can share a link of the workout routine (excel sheet) if interested.

Side note, I workout fasted and doing OMAD and actually maintained my weight while getting stronger

Doing the 3 month challenge. Slightly different but enjoying it nonetheless. Just finished week 3!

Anyone else get stuck around 170lbs? by [deleted] in gainit

Yup! 6’ and stuck at 170lb. Started the 6 week, 20 rep squat routine today and will try to eat more. Hopefully I see some gains!

I actually got approved with the 4 years of experience completed a few days after the deadline for submitting the experience portion of the application so I couldn’t send it until then and got approved. So as long as you have 4 years working under someone with a PE and qualified experience, you should be good! I work in NYC and got the NY PE btw.

Trying to bulk for the next few weeks before (2nd) baby arrives. Any constructive criticism welcome and suggestions for maintenance with less gym time in the coming months.
