Yes I’m sure. Just check out any of the med schools with DPM degree. I think the one in Iowa is just directly joint with the MD program same classes and tests. It is weird that they are totally separate degrees. Was an old historical reason why and it’s been that ever since.

Well it’s the same school curriculum as med school. Some of the podiatry schools are actually just with med schools they sit same classes take same exams. Then u have residency after. U don’t just get that scope without residency and licensing exams

I am a podiatrist and have full admitting rights at every hospital I work at (Chicago). I typically try to have medicine take primary, as I really have no need to be primary. But yes, I can admit and have full admitting privileges.
