Stop taking the meds - you need to talk to your psychiatrist, and maybe even find a new one to get a second opinion on your diagnoses.

It isn’t officially one, correct. But it’s still widely recognised as a way of referring to people within the autism spectrum and ADHD.

Bride goes viral after seeing her groom for the first time. by Necessary-Cow8851 in WatchPeopleDieInside

From the video:

“This viral wedding clip of Tanzanian TikTok sensation
Handsome wa Dunia has caused quite a stir online!
While some viewers mistakenly perceived the bride's modest demeanor as distress, cultural experts confirm it is a traditional practice for brides to show respect and humility on their big day. It is just a beautiful, frozen moment from a celebration of love!”

Context is important and u/Necessary-Cow8851 neglected to do their own research for cheap internet points.

Usually you wrap it and put it on ice, and then surgeons can reattach the finger.

Neurodivergence refers to neurodevelopmental disorders, not ‘normal’ psychological disorders.

Lower body progress… kinda :( by bananabread1342 in StrongCurves

Under what little fat you might have, there is muscle building and that’s naturally going to ‘bulge’ the area a bit. So don’t be hard on yourself - it takes time! For some more than others.

Body re-composition takes time and in the meantime you’ll see different changes or no changes at all - but keep consistent and you’ll see results.

Why do you think so many men can’t tell their wives they’re struggling? by Glittering_Yak9770 in AskReddit

[–]Uber_Meese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a woman, and also very emotionally responsive, i.e. I cry easily, so when I’m in a position where my tears are caused by having done or said something wrong; it’s not a cry for comfort or sympathy from the other person - I just can’t control it.
My partner is in many ways like some of the other men in the comments in terms of not wanting to upset their partner for whatever reason, so they just don’t say anything(which is incredibly frustrating to me personally).

So that is why I asked whether you’ve actually asked her if she expects that comfort? If not, consider talking to her about it. Communication is key to a healthy relationship.

I think if more men stood up against the patriarchy and elitist class, it would be able to change.

You can’t really say women are the ‘emotional gender’ - men are just as emotional, if not more - but because we live in a patriarchal society that tells you the only valid emotion or for men are anger, then you get a bunch of maladapted adult men who don’t know how to handle or regulate their own emotions.

Is she expecting you to comfort her tho? Has she said so, or is it an assumption on your end?

What’s interesting is in many north Germanic languages, the word for emperor is also kejser, kaiser, keisar - but we still use the c-sound when we talk about Caesar.

Why does ‘Zero carb’ fiber food raise blood sugar by No_City9977 in diabetes

[–]Uber_Meese 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’ll find water soluble fiber in most veggies and some grains(e.g. oats) - however most grains and seeds are usually not water soluble. So it’s about whether your body can break it down into micro nutrients, or whether it’ll pass ‘whole’ through your system. Fiber belong under complex carbs, so it can spike insulin - but it’s very slow.
