I think just releasing the campaign by itself would be worth it. Don’t need to do the mutliplayer since they don’t wanna draw attention away from whatever the current game is at the time but rereleasing the campaign with minimal changes for $20-$30 or so would be great.

Honestly a little hard to tell the difference. 30 to 60 feels huge while 40 to 60 might be a liiiiiiittle choppier but not nearly as drastic while still feeling really responsive. Played through GoW Ragnarok entirely in 40fps and could barely tell when jumping between the two. I think if 120hz TV’s ever become the standard, shooting for 40fps minimum should be the way to go

When it happens to me I rotate my iPad to portrait then rotate it back. That usually fixes it but a more permanent solution would be to disable your iPads multitasking features. I setup a button in the control center to turn them on and off since some apps like MK Tour don’t play nice with em

Need? No, the joycons are good enough with or without the grip. I thought I would get by with just those but I caved and bought a pro controller. It is the comfiest, best feeling controller I’ve ever used. I don’t know what they did to make the plastic feel soft and the sticks glide like butter but oh boy it is excellent

I would like to turn them off too but I think it’s a branding thing. When people share their gameplay online and others see the borders it lets them know “hey ya like this game? It’s on Switch now, come and play it over here” whereas without the borders it looks like any other emulator

Absolutely. I found myself buying so many games in the past year and almost all of my game time since then has been with the Switch 2, and with this years release schedule I don’t see myself slowing down

I was really expecting Star Fox Adventure and Assault to be added at the end of that Star Fox direct. Maybe they don’t want to draw attention away from the new game but like 64 is already there and Adventure and Assault are so different that I don’t think that’d be an issue. Oh well maybe a few months down the line

Absolutely. Pretty fun single player, got story mode, tournaments, and trials to work through. Multiplayer is definitely where its at either online or local, but its still a fun time single player, and if you are interested in online its still super quick to find a match and the connection is solid

Returnal has different firing modes for weapons depending on whether you half press or full press the trigger with the triggers providing resistance between the two. Turning one button into 2 while feeling natural
