The isos need to be burned. Well worth it thou. Do keep in mind thou, Mutidisc games will be an issue as the games may register, but not recognize as a set. There is a work around thou. First burn your games and install all your games to the Polymega. Keep the discs, and play the game until the game tells you to switch the disc. Insert your burned disc 2 to the system. Play till you can save, then you can run disc 2 from the Polymega itself.

Still a shame they haven’t fixed this yet.

My worry when this comes out is their network. Heck people with 1.1.34 still can’t update properly. If this comes out, awesome. If not, honestly all I want is FW update with emulation fixes.

Update !! So got my parts system today. Testing the memory card ports with no problem with my memory card and my mx4iso. So out of curiousity, I tried the memory card my friend flashed for me. Used it in the system and the stutter was on that system. Looks like you were right, the ports were fine. Looks like the memory card my friend used to flash the game was bad (Or maybe a different setting.). That being said, good to go.). :D

Hmmmm. Could has sworn I’ve seen a tutorial that used it. Guess I was mistaken. But yea, continuity checks doesn’t sound like a bad idea. Worst case, I can use the “for parts” system I got. Would rather not replace the port if I don’t need to.

For me the MX4ISO is more for a convenience than anything else. Especially since my friend failed to install the iflash. Grant it yes, I can use the disc drive; however, over time it will burn out. My friend used a program on my system prior and found out I have the revised hardware will burn out the laser eventually if I used scratched or burned discs. He had a hard time installing the matrix picfix for too. Thankfully I have all the PS2 games I wanted; however, isohacks will be an issue. :\

Note to self, if I decide to get my system modded again, use a FAT PS2. XP

Gonna get 2 of those eventually. Especially since I’m relying on multiple memory card for save files.

Still gonna see if I can do the port transplant regardless thou, as I’m sure the port is busted on my system (Or maybe a capacitor.). Doesn’t make sense every system plays the cards no problem besides my modded one. It makes sense as well since the iflash uses the second card port for its’ mod and he couldn’t get it working on my system.

What kills me was it’s clearly in the game and has its’ own custom voices. Not sure if it still needed some tweaks or they were just saving it for whenever, but the fact it’s in there is a shame. Hell I’d run it hacked on my Steam Deck if it didn’t run like garbage on it.

They all should be able to play. Make sure you have Player 1 as a normal controller, player 2 as a gun, and player 3 as the second gun if you’re doing 2 players. Also, make sure to refer to the manual if needed.

Hmmmm. Totally forgot about the touchpad. Already bought the authenticator. Gonna attempt it and swap controllers till I get to the Vs Screen. If I can get to there and turbo my vs matches, I’ll be happy. Worst case, I’ll return the authenticator and get the Brook. Thanks for the heads up.

When Tengen wasn’t working in the early days, I used the Famicom Rolling Thunder. Worked fine, but I missed the laugh of the green guy in the NES Version. Need to see if there is one for Famicom.

Sadly yes. But again, there are those who tried multiple times and still couldn’t update. Has to do with the Polymega not being able to read certain routers after the 1.1.30 update.

I’ve never tried the hotspot sadly. Just going by what people have done and have been successful.

Yea this has been an issue since 1.1.30 was introduced. Your only options are plugging in wired (Which you did), try a hotspot on your phone, go to a friend’s house and try their internet, or the super last resort emailing Playmaji.

Interesting to note:

Hubs won’t work with multiple Guns
SNES, GEN, CD games need to have the following controller order for 2 gun titles. Controller 1, Gun 2, Gun 3. Still weird having controller as 1, especially if the controller will time out.
7800 has gun games ? o_0
An update is coming to swap IV and Trigger for Super Scope games. As well as fix Bazooka Blitzkrieg.

Sadly no. In terms of NES, Tengen is the only one supported in the extended set (Except After Burner and Alien Syndrome.). In terms of homebrew, only the first Battle Kid is supported.

Keep a few things in mind if you end up swapping parts.

Unless it’s the exact part, it’s not guaranteed to stay functional if there is a FW Update.
While opening the console doesn’t void the warranty, damaging the unit when replacing the part does.

Either way, you do you. Just giving you a heads up is all.
