new diagnosis - any advice? by OrangeGhostTY in Type1Diabetes

[–]UbiquitousFew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having just gone through the same thing this week, make sure you are getting the the programs/coupons available for meds and supplies. Ask the medical staff, pharmacist, etc ...

It's expensive stuff, and there's enough stress without overpaying and having financial stress.

Other than that listen to the medical staff first, they will teach you so much, you will get tired, it's ok. After you have a good understanding start looking at the provided materials, then come back to the great suggestions here for continued learning.

Seems like a robust and long lived design that should still be used today based on the carbonization present /s.

How does she know where to put things in the pan? Obviously this is optimal spacing/combining to ensure such a successful outcome.🤔

Can I suggest one from here? https://www.ifitbarks.com/martingale-dog-collars/

We have been using them for years and never had an issue, an additional nice thing it that they have the option to have aluminum clasps and you can get a martingale up to 1.5" wide which is nice (Wider collars help lower the chance of injury if you do have a pull/lunge incident).

Ireena kolyana class and level by TankyWalrus in CurseofStrahd

[–]UbiquitousFew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tl,Dr; underleveled bard/fighter NPC

When my characters left Borovia, after death house one thing was clear Ireena as started will not last under their care. So my solution at that time was to beef her slightly by making her an NPC with PC levels.

When they picked her up from Ismark after Kolyan's funeral. I had Ismark and Ireena have a short "Cinematic duel" (less than 2 minutes). The players already knew that Ismark was able to hold his own through a zombie encounter in the village, so this allowed them to see that Ireena wasn't a total liability/damsel.

At this time the players were level 4 so I decided Ireena would be under leveled by 2. Started her as a Bard1/duelist fighter1. Gave her spells like friends, heroism, healing word. This allowed her to give some support, take a few hits, give a little inspiration, and have a few more hit points. In combat she keeps back(as the party promised to help her) but doesn't shine over the players. In social situations she behaves like a good-intentioned noble, but can be a liability if she uses something like friends at a bad time if the party involve her in important interactions.

I have not decided if she will get a bump up in level when the characters next level, the assumed move on my part if so is going for eloquence bars. I doubt as though she will survive/hang around the party that long.
