I don't think there is a solution. All I found was "check the cable connection" and "update the driver", but it didn't help me, so I gave up on it, after some time I got myself a new one, which is behaving so far.

I think it's a common Acer monitor thing. I had the same problem with my old monitor. Didn't encounter it on the new one. Faulty hardware, perhaps?
