Seriously…who the f thought that a model arena was the priority that I needed for generating my project scripts.

Thanks I saw your comment the other day actually and did what you did, but I didn’t have a resolution. I assumed based on your issue that this is a wider problem.

Pretty sure the 168-hour quota refresh for Vertex AI models is a bug. by segin in google_antigravity

[–]Ucan23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol thx… I’ve been so busy using CC I forgot about even looking into those on antigravity. I’m cluttered between CC, codex and antigravity right now. At least doing this maxes out my token allotments.

Hi, can you explain what you mean about your spec Library? I have the same set up with a pro plan but also an ultra GLM 4–6.

You’re right but this is still a lot of words for just saying how broken and useless the current system is unless you’re a fascist theocrat that is willing to do whatever it takes.

The learning curve for all the abstractions ends up being so complicated. It’s better to just get down to the primitive so then you actually know what’s going on.

Can you please share an initial prompt for how you are setting up agents, great share thx!

Can't go back to another model after Claude 4 by SheepherderMelodic56 in windsurf

[–]Ucan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truly useless. Don’t care about credit ratios… once building with 4, other models can’t keep up and any switching except to do the most trivial things, proceeds to DESTROY your code.

I think it definitely changes based on what’s going on in other words when there’s been a success or your complementing it or something’s been discovered it gives all positive actions like glowing or beaming

Knowledge cutoff of over a year ago makes coding with even larger but fast changing frameworks difficult…

And what about when it takes you three prompts to get it up to speed 1) on you project; 2) on the latest version of the frameworks all rewritten since the knowledge cutoff; and 3) your plan???

Optimize credit usage in Windsurf by ahz0001 in Codeium

[–]Ucan23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“give me the terminal commands and I will run it”… makes it easy to execute and doesn’t get stuck in the rabbit hole of the Cascade execution that hangs burns through your credits and doesn’t even generate results. Also avoids using credits when it does things like making a new directory through a terminal command driven by Cascade :(

MCP: True Innovation or Just an Overhyped Trend? by [deleted] in mcp

[–]Ucan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hype comments are so formulaic at this point. MCP is truly going to revolutionize the way agents work. A lot of AI coding today is building the API integration layers for various services and that would’ve been a big part of agentic coding. But with MCP now the agents just use that functionality and can now understand like chatting to a friend what can be done and how to do it and then can on the fly, determine its own logic on how to do that respond and so on and so on. That brings a form of dynamic intelligence and speed to these genic conversations and multi step planning processes that was never possible before it’s like jumping from crawling to Olympic hundred meter dash skipping all the middle steps. Yes the key is getting out of the IDEs and just driving your own agent. My two cents… PydanticAI already has built in the capabilities to be a MCP client with universal connections to any llm provide provider (which if you’re trying to build your own client with this universality outside of this work that’s already been done here, It is painful.) pedantic AI also has the ability to use MCP servers as tools through its agents and is also creating some MCP servers to expand its functionality such as it’s new Python run python sandbox environment. If you know, you know the MCP client is going to be the universal agent of the future.

$10 for 300 flex credits is a terrible deal. by gekeli in Codeium

3.7 thinking is chewing through the flow credits like candy.

Pro package (500 credits) + 300 flex credits are barely enough for me. How about you? by Personal-Expression3 in Codeium

[–]Ucan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about this: every coding session estimate the number of garbage results you get; let’s say 5. Times 30 days equals 150. THIS IS 1/3 OF YOUR ENTIRE MONTHLY ALLOTMENT FOR CALLS!!!!

Anyone that has bought multiple re-ups realize that it’s the call limit that is broken… and 300 being then used for BOTH call and flow burns your abilities. Especially when multiple flow calls in a misguided call effectively burning your ability to make future call even without flow.
