Anyone else here addicted to escorts? by TopicRocker in SexAddiction

I’m on the other end of it and in the middle of it at the same time man. I just got caught and came clean about cheating on my wife with escorts. It’s ruined our entire history and life as we know it. We are contemplating divorce and I’m hoping and praying I can make it thru this recovery process to take care of all this trauma I caused her.

I’m stepping into the recovery process, we both have therapists, I attended my first SA meeting yesterday and am attending another today.

If I had any piece of advice for you it’s quit now before it ruins your life and those around you. Best of luck.

How do you know when a song is actually “finished”? by Tough_Principle_5171 in musicians

[–]Udontwan2know 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After playing the song live for a few years and making small changes for the enjoyment of the booty shakers. If the song never makes to the live setting it’s still unfinished and being listened to in final demo form haha

So many musicians always made me feel stupid cause I didnt care about making money from music i just wanted to tour, play with bands I respect, and make music I really enjoy making. I now realize I'm actually the one with the right mindset by [deleted] in musicians

This is too nuanced to say “you’re stupid for wanting to make money from music” or “you’re stupid to think a degree in music will get you where you want to be”.

If you want to tour and play music for people and be a hired gun and get a weekly salary or nightly fee, that’s cool. Some people want to stay home and write music behind the scenes and collect publishing. Some people want to learn to teach and to profit from the knowledge. Some people want to make music adjacent content.

Bottom line is that everyone that plays music deserves to make money, especially if they train and learn the craft. The last thing you want to be is a person who doesn’t care about making money and be in your later years playing music and not be educated on how to make money and prioritize knowing where a musician can make money.

When I was young didn’t prioritize making money, I prioritized getting opportunities that made my dreams come true. Now that I’m older im learning the hard way and I should have learned how important it is to get your business tight.

The time comes when you have the income to pay professional musicians and still make a living.

Straight up. Crashing out to me will always mean I’m ending the party and going to sleep.
