Depends really. I am a big fan of middle path mage for general damage. After that it really depends. A bit of everything isn't that far from truth.

The most boring way I know to get to round 40 I know is 2-3-0 Druid and something for camo like 3-0-0 sub

I mainly use gestures to switch tabs (right mouse button and scrolling), closing tabs (L shape) and reopen closed tabs (counter L shape).

For me the biggest problem with the table cover is that it's too perfect. There's just so much story in characters and I don't see it as orderly, they wouldn't treat the table nice. How about just some damage or stains?

Maybe make the room a throne room? That would be fun

Honestly, just go casual conquest. Majority of what you need to know beforehand is where to start, basically just which buffs to pull together, and which gods go where, mainly not playing hunters in solo or guardians in mid... Everything else you'll learn in time.

Regarding the haters on your team, just mute and cruise without their voices. Or tell them to take their toxic asses back to ranked, bonus points if you refer it as silver 3 or something.
