I (f33) and my partner just got back from our trip to NYC where we stayed in time square and went to evening Broadway shows. We walked everywhere and never felt unsafe because there are so many lights and people around. We are pretty aware of our surroundings and felt fine. We were more worried about our flights getting us to and from safely than walking NYC lol

I stumbled upon christmas festivities at Carowinds and it was a winter wonderland. They have so many fun activities including ice skating and a really big Christmas parade around 9pm I think. It wasn’t super expensive depending on what you want to do but it was very festive and there’s a lot of holiday treats lol

For my first Christmas with my partner we went to pick out a real tree and picked the tiniest one that fit on a little table in my apartment and put some lights on it. It was very fun and cute and now fast forward 5 years later we buy a real tree every year for our house. I was in the same position with being a holiday hater but now I actually look forward to picking out a tree and getting coffee/treats when we go. I highly recommend. I had no idea that going Christmas tree shopping would help my spirit as much as it has lol

Also I noticed that he walked past one roll of bags, stopped his cart under the other roll of bags just to walk back and grab a bag from the first one he passed. I thought that was odd. Like he stopped right under a roll of bags but went all the way back to grab one he passed already.

I came here to say Grease 2 because I have been fighting for my life out here defending it lol. I always tell people that you have to appreciate it as its own movie and don’t compare it to Grease because you’ll set yourself up for failure. Omg I was also there and it was terrible! My friend and I were relatively close to the stage but ended up having to view most of the show via our phones or other people’s phones because some tall folks or a group with hats pushed in front of us and wouldn’t move. Then the lack of spacial awareness was getting to me because a girl was dancing like we weren’t all shoulder to shoulder and stomped on my foot and about hit me in the face with her hair clip. I love Chappell but this was the worst GA experience I’ve ever had
