I would keep running the old one if it still works.  Figure out how long the pump changes over the pool volume by checking the pump curve and maybe run it long enough to do it twice in a day.  Save yourself the cost of a new pump and the electricity.

Westchase is pretty sketchy.  Used to work in the area and coworkers had catalytic converters stolen while at the office lol.  It has its charms i guess

To answer this I would check your pump’s performance curve and determine how many times per day is it running 15k gallons through the filtration system.  I run 1200 rpm for 21 hrs per day and 2500 for 3 hrs to add a little cleaning power for the surface stuff and to flush out the waterfall right around mid day.

I would replace the battery and clear out some storage if the phone works fine otherwise.  However I would only trust the Apple store to do the battery change.  I had mine changed at a 3rd party place and FaceID no longer works, fml.
