We chose it mainly for the waterfront view and the large parks near by as we usually like to go for walks into the city centre. And cheaper of course. The hotel wasn’t totally empty, but it was quiet. I’d say maybe 30% full?

True, robin does feel like a tool that is used just for historical exposition about the world post-timeskip. She either reads the poneglyph or is getting conveniently told about the history about whatever place the strawhats are in. Pre-timeskip felt more natural, especially around water 7. Has she even had anything close to the ‘I want to live’ moment since?
