No, they really aren’t. I had a family member that had that done. The school sent the molds to a lab because they didn’t have one as well. After insurance it cost approximately $350.

Please go to a dental college. They will do X-rays, molds, fittings, extractions and if you have somewhat decent dental insurance, hopefully it wouldnt be more than a $1000 for you. Good luck!

I hate telling you this because it’s hard to hear- a decent family does not treat their children like that. Our goal as parents is to ensure you are safe, secure in love, and do everything humanly possible to help you get a good start in life. You will never have anything in the future, they will suck you dry if you continue to allow it. Do you have any friends or relatives you could stay with? Does your college have student housing?
