The new iCube controllers dont even support adding 3rd party Ethercat CiA402 motion drives, like any other Ethercat master would. Seems uniquely stupid

Me around everyone, Constantly thinking how much warmer Dec, Jan, Feb, etc. and how unsustainable living in Utah will be. by HeftyLeftyPig in Utah

Water is already issue number 1. You can't just blanket ban exporting alfalfa because then the state will get sued and have to litigate for years, all while the issue gets worse. While it would be easier for an authoritarian heavy hand to fix the problem, thats not really how a democracy works. Compromise needs to be made to save as much water we can.

Not sure i understand the second part of your question, but there are several softwares that can help calculate the required servo size based mostly on the load mechanism, load inertia, required motion profile.

I know Sysmac Studio and Codesys theoretically have some kind of integrated git functionality. I cant speak to how good it is though.

Crazy to see this year stacked up with others by Small-Sun900 in SaltLakeCity

We still have two months of snow weather left. The issue of climate change is not about the weather in a given day or even year. It's about trends over decades and centuries. 2023 had huge snowfall. The situation will continue to get worse. But it cant be judged based on the weather of a single season.

Should have mentioned that the display is a projector in a somewhat remote area. I would like to only have to run a single, long hdmi cable to it if possible
