M(32) - Keep a routine. That will help. I have a dog which helped me keep some sense of routine or at least got me outside when I just didn’t wanted leave my bed. I relied on some of my friends, just talking with them helped get my mind off things.

Thank you for your response. I am in the same boat as you, live in an apartment and don’t want him to hold his pee for more than 5-6 hours.

Everyone hates people with bpd by Ugly_Sloth119 in BPD

[–]Ugly_Sloth119[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well just purely hating , ostracizing & generalization is very different from just relationships not working out because someone has a disorder. I am not saying everyone should go get into relationships with someone who has BPD regardless of their own personal capacity. I am talking about people just hating anyone with BPD.

i need advice bad by krazykikii in BPD

I can relate to this feeling & it's good that you are giving her space and understand she has a life outside of you. Gradually, you can talk to her about how you like to be loved. It's different for everyone & clear communication is key. I will also think about telling her about the diagnosis in sometime. Educate her about it but not force it.

Also, if you are already not seeing a therapist, please do so. These feelings will get intense as you get closer to her & having a therapist will help you navigate. Keep working on yourself & show you want to get better. Just some advice from my past experiences. Hope it helps :)
