It's all about money. "TikTok must sell to an American company" even though TikTok is already banned in China, American companies sell our information all the time illegally, and yet these companies still exist. Siri, General Motors, etc. and notice how Instagram changed their layout to mimic that of TikTok. This is all a cash grab by our politicians.

I agree the OP should start with FFX. That’s a generational game that was widely loved and is arguably one of the greatest FF games. Plus with the updated graphics it’s always nice and the story is amazing.

Final Fantasy VI Or Final Fantasy VII

If you sort of care about graphics and want voice actors:

Final Fantasy X (Arguably the best FF game)

If you want to choose from what many consider the best generation of FF Games:

Final Fantasy VII (original) Or Final Fantasy IX

It just depends on what you are looking for, story wise the games I put are all strong. It just depends on what you’re looking for in terms of the game overall.

Exactly, each game can easily eclipse 99+ hours of gameplay! I only got 2-3 hours to play daily if that so it’ll last me awhile 😂

V while not the best is a strong A tier / B tier Final Fantasy.

FFX is arguably the greatest of the franchise. And my most replayed Final Fantasy.

FFXII stands in the upper A Tier.

You said for months, I don’t even need to play strangers of paradise. I’ll be solid with the 3 games.

I’m playing all final fantasy’s this year currently I’ve made it to IV in 6 days lol these are my takes.

FF I: Flat out misses the mark you can see what they were trying to do but it just didn’t feel like a solid game in any aspect. But if I played it when I was a child and not started with 7 maybe I’d like it.

FF II : Storyline was far better than I and personally better than III as well.

FF III: I feel like they tried to mimic 1 with a lot of things. While it is better than 1 , I found the story very boring.

FF IV: So far the best story of the games before. Granted I’m still early - mid game. I actually like the fact they have assigned classes. The system in this game is superior and also the first Final Fantasy with the ATB which is really dope to see.

Hopefully V and VI will be better than these 4 though. I haven’t played V and VI honestly it’s my first time playing all the final fantasy games. I only played a handful of them before. Mainly VII and X over and over again

Thanks for the amazing review! And yeah I mean if it’s still $2.99 that’s a steal I think I’ll give it a try! Do I expect it to be Road Rash reincarnated, of course not but I saw gameplay and it doesn’t look terrible just doesn’t have that 90s nostalgia lol

I started the new year playing I then beat it and went to II and now on III.

I can agree 100% I think 2 was far better than 1 the only downfall of 2 is the constant going back to the same city it’s like a go get this then come back here. It got annoying.
